Most of course are just made up in the pub or someone else comes in and offers our targets bigger ££££ (D Ferguson).
Here are a few of the latest.....

OUT
Josh Hodgson to Wire or Saints. (Really Hope not!)
G Horne - Offered less money than currently on.

IN
Danny Brough - Cant see it as it would require a fee and big wages.
Ben Westwood - Is he OOC end of the season. Wages would be too much.
Lee Briers - Same as BW above. But does have family contacts in Hull.

Thoughts/comments anyone??

Apart from the G Horne one, I think I would be very surprised if any of the others came true.

In other "guesses" im thinking if the BC rumour is correct it would involve Omari or more likely Alex Brown going the other way.
Dave Hodgson will be around for a couple more years yet hopefully till we get another upto speed winger.

The Legendary Goose will always be the biggest avian character here.

Allowing Brown to go would not make any sense imo, he looks a player with a very good future and i will be very surprised if Rovers don't offer him a longer term contract, Perhaps we will know a little more after the forthcoming weekend.

Why not wait a year and save on a transfer fee? Why wait a year, they have the cash, would be a massive coup for the fans almost a reverse cookie, what if Miller steps up?

rumours form a very good source, that your lot was talking to roy asotasi before he joined wire......
same rumour spreader said that now asotasi has joined wire, rovers are in for a couple more " real quality" players from the nrl to plug the gaps left by dobson and paterson.......
nevile costigan gets a mention, but apparently he's not part of the 2 who your talking too....
but with hudge saying that they could be looking into the championship for players, i think thats a smoke screen, and you may even be suprised who your after!!

With all due respect, that isn't a surprise at the moment. I'm just pleasantly surprised that a sinking ship like ours is even in the running for this calibre of player.

Not that disappointed at missing out tbh. Best prop in the world 5-6 years ago, doesn't look like there's much left in the tank now.

Thats the problem with overseas players now, with their salary cap being that much higher clubs over here are now looking at young Aussies with something to prove or players at the end of their careers, the days of top quality overseas players coming over are almost over i would imagine.
