Not neccessarily, even if it is their 1st game we may play a week earlier.

If you look at sky bet Super League specials it looks like a full round of fixtures minus Leeds and Saints. Wigan V Hull KR and Hull V Wakey.

Nothing official but it seems a bit strange why they would be on the Sky website now.

It's the odds for who will finish higher of the two teams over the regular season.

Think it was confusing because it doesnt include Leeds and Saints. Obviously Leeds will not be involved in round 1 with WCC commitments so it could be mistaken for a round of fixtures with 20:00 hours kick off! It could have been clearer.

That said it would be a good set of fixtures for round one of Super League XV IMO.

I know the first 2 fixtures if anyones interested, and hulls

No matter who we play 1st, we'll be reminded by our neighbours how the team we will be playing weren't at their best and were missing this player and that player etc.

Also if that's the best we can play then we'll finish 10th and so on.

I would prefer to have the sort of start we had last season. Play the so called big teams first when they might not be at 100%. It has worked for us before.

The smaller, weaker teams will be hoping to get us first then.

Why do you care what your neighbours think? If Rovers finish above us like last season you'll have the bragging rights. If you dont i think Rovers fans can expect a lot of stick after the 2 seasons worth youve given us. I just hope you lot can take it as good as youve given it. Still, if i were the higher placed team in Hull like you are i wouldnt give a damn about our neighbours!

That could be interesting - the wave of optimism could break pretty quickly, if they lost say 4 of the first 6. I think Agar looks to have done well in sorting out some of their problems, but they were calling for his head almost to a man at one point, so he's already on his second chance you'd think.

For us, I think the potential banana skins of Celtic and Salford will be more slippery than last year, and everyone else was capable of beating anyone on their day, with Leeds a cut above - though even they were beaten by Salford. No real preferences really - you've got to play everyone eventually.

Ive just got a really funny feeling that if we are the higher placed team next year and we do start giving stick there are going to be some rovers fans that simply cant take it. We'll see though.
