A little bird tells me that the Broncos are possibly looking at lining JM up for next season.

Don't know if it will happen as JM wants to coach a Sydney based club but I do know he wants to coach at the top level.


Could be an interesting few months ahead ............

He's got 15 months remaining on his current contract.

He's contracted to us next season, and listening to the comments from Justin and the chairman today I don't think he's in any hurry to move on.

I didnt know Hull actually had a coach to be honest.....

He probably will go to the NRL at some stage, but it's not going to be in the near future I feel.

At 34 years of age, he can conquer the NRL in 20 years if he wants to.

After listening to both JM and NH today I really think he'll stay until he has won the GF with us. That would be the biggest achievment ever seen in SL and something I'm sure JM wants to be a part of.

He's still young, he has plenty of time to realise his ambitions of coaching in the NRL after achieving major honours over here.

It's inevitable he will want to try his luck in the NRL and we should understand that, we have been lucky to get a young coach who had potential to take us from NL to a challenging side in SL. The good thing is, if he does go the clubs profile is much better than it was a few years back and we have some good former NRL players on the books, which should mean we can attract a decent replacement, it will cost, but it's no use doing an FC and getting a coach on the cheap, it's vital that position is filled with a quality person.

That quality person would be hard to find, would we go for a coach with a proved SL track record, or try and get an Big named Aussie or go down the ex player route, maybe James Webster or Chris Chester?

I seem to remember when Anthony Siebold left the club he said he would love to come back and be coaching us one day.

Isn't he at Crusaders in some capacity at the minute?

Another ex rovers player Latham Tawhai is still involved in the game as a coach, at London Skolars I think.

I suppose it shows just how far Justin has come as a head coach that he is linked with such a prestigous appointment.

BS, Brisbane will not go for anyone without an NRL pedigree given the situation they are currently in.
