We pride our sport on not being like football yet there was more petulance on display today than any Championship football match I've seen all season.

I go to the game to watch a free-flowing game of Rugby League and I was subjected to moaning and winging by your players in almost every set of the game.

The bollox spouted in the press release recently by Kris Radlinski regarding Sean Long's arrival about Wigan having a "style of discipline" is pathetic when you consider your club is incapable of managing your to keep your players from verbally spouting off towards officials all match long.

If your team suffers a disadvantage as a result of an injury then so be it. And if your players don't change their attitude they'll get more of the same in the return fixture I expect.

I don't endorse violent play, it's just if your players choose not to play the game in the correct spirit, then I don't have much sympathy.

Winging to officials, feigning injury to stop our momentum etc. etc.

The bottom line is I am a paying RL spectator effectively paying RL player's wages and they way your players conduct themselves will turn people away from the game.

I agree with you here, i've watched the game of Rl for about 45 years as well as playing when i was younger. Players back chatting and remonstrating with the referees is becoming more apparent and is becoming a worrying aspect of the game.
Tompkins is a brilliant and naturally gifted player but i'm becoming sick and tired of seeing him constantly remonstrating and shaking his head at the referee every time he doesn't like a tackle or a decision that goes against him.
He isn't the only one that's guilty of this type of behaviour but it needs to be stamped out by the Rfl before it becomes more like the so called professional game of football.
