Ditto. While confidence is an undoubted quality, i think we got a little too big for our boots on this one.

i love the golden point and think we should have it in sl for draws.

but remeber folks the refs will not give pens in golden point. so almost anything goes

like when briscoe was tackled in golden point and the ref called "held first tackle" briscoe played on and should have been penalised just to the side of the sticks 2 meters out but bentham didnt have the balls to give it.

The Golden Point just becomes a dropgoalathon , I would have much preffered a 10 minute each way extra time - though the players may well disagree with that one.

Golden Try? I think that would be a far better way to decide a game and a lot more entertaining than hit and hope drop goal attempts.
