Quote ="rover49"Check my posts, I have condemned him completely and if the club sack him he will have got what he deserves, what I have seen as a common run through these discussions is people are more concerned that it was caught on CCTV, which does NOT make it any less or more serious. The only thing it proves is what he did is visible, while other players who have been convicted of assault are deemed less culpable because it was not there on the internet for all to see.
He has been convicted and sentenced in a court of law, now it seems the court of public opinion needs its pound of flesh as well, I jsy think we should leave it to the club and RFL to sort out. I agree a thug is a thug and we have had plenty of them in our sport, some can count themselves lucky there was no CCTV.'"
Which is what i have said in my posts too . Because its on cctv it just brings it into the front room if you like, and then people take notice hence why we agree the RFL should act .
