Had a nosey at the Keighley forums and they seem to have played well in their most recent friendly, so could be an interesting game. They don't seem to have added many to their squad from last year, and we weren't too far behind them when they played us last year if I remember correctly.
Just read over on the Keighley forum that we have the ever reliable Mr Merrick as ref on Sunday. Didn't he have a few howlers at the Woodlands last season.
hope the_cow doesn't see that news on the ref. after the oldham game he said he'd never go to another game he is reffing again.
apparently jonny leather won't be playing in the cup games because of his tendonitis, which will obviously hurt our play and our chances, but the new talent should up the overall effort i guess. looking forward to seeing them in action.
In our 2 pre season games we've looked on the ball and our new fitness coach has got the lads in to really good shape.
I think you guys will do really well this season, I think you'll definitely make the play-offs, possibly making the top 3 in what looks a competitive league.
