Agreed. There have been some excellent, competitive seasons in the Championship in recent years. Although FIVE being relegated is a bit much!

Agreed given how tight the table is there will be teams who go down who don't deserve it imo. As daft as it seems I'm not even sure we are mathematically safe yet.

The most satisfying thing about yesterday for me was that we did it without Paul Cooke on the pitch.

Fantastic second half performance which will live long in the memory. I wonder when was the last time Leigh failed to register a point in 40 minutes of RL.

This is a very talented Centurions squad who will deservedly win the Championship but for yesterday at least we proved slightly better ... Still buzzing!

I'd also like to add that the Leigh supporters who've posted on here are a credit to their Club and themselves. No sour grapes, non of the usual 'it was the ref's fault' nonsense that we've had after some victories.

You obviously turned it round. We really struggle with Dewsbury.

We were helped by Dews getting a player sent off just before HT. And as others have said we haven't really played that well for the past few games.

I thought Leigh would nick it, being camped on our try line for what seemed like five minutes.
I could see it being 20-22 and abject misery after a brave fightback, but ... wasn't it great when Lee Crookes broke clear and then at the moment you gauge that he wasn't going to be caught you get out of your seat and cheer on a certain try from thirty forty yards out?
Absolute magic!

I also thought Jacob Miller played well, and good look to him.

Also, I know I keep banging on about Wilko, but the kid is class and that break he made in the second half when he was eventually dragged down was brill, and a try on the back of it if I recall correctly.

With all the talk about Wilkinson I feel Starling and Wilson also deserve a mention. Don't remember them getting pushed about particularly against a bigger pack. For me the only downside to Wilson this season has been he sometimes gets pushed around and can spill the ball but not so this time and also still came up with a nice offload, which is huge for us as our props rarely seem to do it. I was happy they were both on the teamsheet as Starling is another who seems to constantly improve and I thought we might need an offload from or two from Wilson as I figured we would need something special to break down Leigh, as it happens they both had possibly their best games for the club.

Wilkinson also did some poor kicks and passes in amongst the brilliant stuff so there is still plenty to work on however I agree he is a real emerging talent.

I'm just so impressed with the way these lads have applied themselves as when we first signed them I think we all thought they would be just squad players but now I think they need to be among the first names we retain.

Special mention to the performances of Snitch (my MOTM) and Waterman, who really seemed to scare them when he came on.
