Awesome result..not able to make away games at the moment, but I'll be there to cheer them on for the first (and hopefully) only playoff match before the final.

The boys were fantastic today, totally dominated as if there was no pressure.

Support was fantastic from before the kick off to the final hooter.

Players and supporters celebrating together at the end.

i asked paul cooke what its like to be a champion he replied modestly ask the other lads , so proud of em all , willshaw and spurr had there best games of the season for me all the lads put there all all in today ,

You should have seen his face when he was told there waas only cans of carlsberg or fosters left!!

The best day ever, got a sore throat from the non stop singing and chanting, fantastic season from all the squad and the after party at the Keepmoat was just mental, Great credit to the club for inviting us fans to Join in this memorable occasion, Here's to the Play Offs hope to be able to attend the Barrow game (got to use my powers of persuasion) DONNYTILIDIE 4ever and always COYD SO SO PROUD TO BE A DONS FAN

Pleased for our two young players Walshaw and cowling. Hope to see them play more SL games for wakey next year, possibly very good SL players in the making even as young as they are.

Final note, congratulations on being champions. Well done

Russ Spiers has been impressive too .

I can think of a good home for them if they're not playing SL games.

. Id be surprised not to see these lads become a regular started for wakey in the next 1-2 seasons, the experience at dons will only aid them and is mutually beneficial for your club too (although in most cases short term).

Spiers I know has been with you all season and he is another who could push for a shirt next year. Not sure if he is out of contract with wakey though.

The Wakey link has been great for the Dons this season.

It has stand offish , just hope that the new partnership isn't overkill. Would like to see a team representing Doncaster ,not Wakefheld reserves. Could in theory be watching a super league reserve league next season by all accounts. Not a good thing in my opinion.Its about right as it is

The wakey production line has always been good but with the pressures of fighting relegation the opportunity for some of the young stars has been limited over the years. It's good to see wakey blooding a few this year but I'm very much fond of the DReg idea if it doesnt become overbearing.

I'd be happy to see the partnership continue with dons. The current under 20s/18s at wakey has alot of talent but not the opportunity to display it at a higher level.

Obviously you don't want a full team of wakey fringe/ young players but it doesn't hurt to have a fair amount. At the end of the day if it adds to the quality of your team it can only be a good thing whether it be for a year or more. Some players only remain at clubs for a year anyway which is pretty much the same thing bar the option to recall for a SL game if needed.

I agree trojan horse that having a few is good for both teams.But by all accounts next season,with the super league clubs cutting the under 20s, there can be as many as 10 at one time,with 8 allowed to be in the team at once. That is too many imo , and would devalue the championship. Don't pretend to know what the state of play is regarding payments to dual reg players, but just wonder if clubs could be enticed to play dual reg players , thus cutting out the part time players who may be on pay as you play deals
