According to todays Yorkshire Post Shaun will be interviewed by the RFL today.

Todays story on the s*n website has the legend (in Jemmos eyes anyway!!!) Gary Schofield slating Shaun.
Schofield has this big say on the issue and then says he has never even heard of Shaun! It just goes to show how much notice he takes of our game and he was a coach up until recently before being fired.

It also mentions something about the teaching union saying he may face disciplinary action in his day job. Im sorry but what the hell has it got to do with his job as a teacher!!

Just listened to the interview on the website and Shaun must have known it was a journo because of the questions been asked and how he was asking them. Also all the stuff about knock ons etc is just general talk not of a specific incident about Shaun.

When you listen to the interview you realise how much the story was sensationalised in print.

For me the only thing the RFL may have on Shaun is the bet on Toulouse.

I don't think he's allowed to under the terms of his suspension. I'd welcome him though, as I'd like to believe that he's innocent until proven otherwise.

I think Leaf is guilty more of stupidity then match fixing. Put into context, he bet £200 at odds of 10/11 on a game he didn't even play in and actually lost on the other game he allegedly bet on. Although wrong it's hardly the crime of the century is it? A ban will suffice. I hope the Dons show Leaf a return on the loyalty he has shown them for the last nine years. Other sports have had far bigger scandals without getting such sensationalism yet for some reason the Scum decided to splash the antics of a semi pro rugby league player from the third tier of the sport all across three pages including the front and back. It stinks to high heaven. I wouldn't hang the Scum in my toilet if you gave me it for free.

Unfortunately for Shaun, and no disresrepect to him, compared to such as Sean Long he is a comparative minnow and can be sacrificed as a gesture and next to nobody will care ... and that's not a nice position to be in.
Let's hope they take an even-handed approach.
