Need news of some signings particularly after last 3 games. Only one new signing and 11 existing announced up to now and one of them is the coach. Fans need to get excited about next season with some more announcements soon.

With a current squad of 12, we should be able to expect news of at least another 12!

The best four sides at this point in the season quite rightly have made it to the semis.
Dewsbury would also have beaten us yesterday IMHO.

We aren't good enough, even though we can beat anyone in this division on our day AND with Hull players. Without them it's obvious we are about five decent players short.

We need to be bigger in the front row forwards for a start.
As wonderful as Cooke has played this season I think he is losing his fitness and putting on weight.
So we need a replacement or Cookey needs to really get fit this close season.

I still feel we need to copy the Eagles, they are streets ahead in the wow factor, hosting as they do half a dozen stand out incomers.
We've only got Pas Dunne which is a step in the right direction.

This gives an indication of the size of the squad Cookie wants - hopefully we will start to hear more soon now that the presentation night is out of the way.

If I could take anyone from Batley it would be Ben Black.

IMO we need another good number 9. Its going to be interesting in the next few weeks to see how all the teams recruit with an extra few quid to play with.

Looking forward to further announcements now that the season is over for all bar Saints and Wigan (and I'd be amazed if we were signing anyone from either of those Clubs).

I'm interested to see who is coming in from outside as I genuinely believe that if we are to compete again next season we'll need probably 5 or 6 quality signings. No disrespect to the players who have given us a wonderful 2014 but we do need to strengthen again.

Watching Leigh vs Fev yesterday was all anyone needed to do to appreciate the gulf that exists between where Leigh are and the rest.
They have a superb team built from top class players ... not second bananas as the film business would say.
We finished fourth and overachieved. Bring in Bradford and London and we are looking dodgy.
We MUST get some class from somewhere or we are in for some pain.
We won some dosh this season, that has got to be spent.

Looking at the squad strengthening that our rivals have done shows that it is going to be a mighty tough league next season. With the extra cash that is around in our league, the quality of players who can be attracted to the division has certainly gone up.

The whole competition has received a huge shot in the arm. This can only be good for rugby in general and will hopefully help boost attendances too.

We certainly need to recruit wisely or else we will almost certainly get left behind. As Wanderer said, this isn't being disrespectful to the players who have given us a wonderful 2014.

I'm eagerly awaiting more official news from the club with regards to players who have re-signed for next season, and news on who the new faces will be.

Is anyone else getting fed up with hearing about how great we will be with the retainee's/ new signings and yet not hearing about them? When season's were still going on then fair enough but as others have said surely our squad will not be filled with players from only Wigan/Saints. At the minute we appear to be getting left behind judging by other teams recruitment.

Surely it makes more sense to announce what we have now to boost excitement for next year, as now is when we are trying to sell season tickets?

Maybe the club have reasons for not making any announcements yet. Perhaps we need to trust their judgement on this? We do seemed to be starved of info at the moment though.
