Oh sod it it's not worth it. I only know two blokes from the era of support mentioned who may have a little gripe at the current state of the game and the Dons current set up. If Tatty Feeld is one of them I have too much respect for this to carry on.

As you have mentioned Bramall,it is well documented how much money he has and how little he puts into the Rovers pro rata.The blokes only seen about three Rovers matches in his life but likes to remain Chairman so that at his dinner parties he can say "I am the chairman of a football league club".
Before the start of the 2015-16 season Dikov was told he would get money to strengthen the team and within a few days that promise was withdrawn and he got next to nothing.He was told the emphasis had to be on youth.
Carl Hall emailed me and said I would be very exited if he got the targets he had lined up for 2015-16 and I bought a season ticket on the strength of that.
We signed very little quality and we were told the signings would be based on youth. Sound familiar.
There should be another Fan's Forum preferably so that we can see a balance sheet but even though the depth of feeling among supporters must be known at the Dons, Carl Hall appears reluctant to do that,Probably because probing questions may be very embarrassing.

Just have a look at the Rovers forums and they are saying the same things being said on here.

I have finally calmed down from Sunday's 2nd half performance, looking back we certainly have the quality and playing a team with fewer dual reg players we looked a better team, young Naughton played well at full back and it is such players that dual reg is designed to bring on. I still believe this team is good enough to stay up, and hopefully one win will lead to another. I am concerned if either half back gets injured we will then struggle, no disrespect to any of the young new half backs but they are a season away from first team regular rugby in my opinion.

I would welcome a fans forum to discuss the goals and ambitions of the club, and how the playing budget as been invested, it appears we must have some funds to invest in the squad if the right player can be found.

I tried asking these questions at the Fans Forum in December Rugblyman. My questions were shot down without being answered.

Having a go at each other is going to achieve absolutely nothing, wasn't there a request for a liaison officer for fans to air their view?, did it get filled?, I doubt it did as surely there would be a thread on here for questions. If fans want to ask questions , we need a mouthpiece, are there any takers?, there seems to be a few upset at what they think is happening at the club, why not put yourself in a position where you can actually ask the questions , in your capacity as a liaison officer.

Agreed but when the Rovers have little bursts of success on the field the same ones are very quiet. I hope the same happens on this Forum.

You seem to have the opinion that you are entitled to know every nuance of every single thing that goes on within Doncaster RLFC, Club Doncaster and Doncaster Rovers?
I've never denied that there are things I'd like to know the answer to, but, at the same time, I can accept that there are things that will never be made public about the running of the club. These are things that happen, I accept I cannot control them, nor can I influence them, but I cope...

We need to stick together as fans and support the team more than ever, the players don't go out on the field and play poorly on purpose.

I am frustrated with the position we are in and therefore we need greater communication from the club to give assurances that if things continue we have resources to fix it, the forum before the season gave a lot of hope of a reasonably successful season, and potential of further quality signings, an update would help to put a bit of enthusiasm into the supporters which is at a low.

Whichever of the above groups you're in, I doubt that any of us would question the commitment of the players. Imagine how they feel about the current situation? We need to back them and support them, cheer them on and encourage them in the games. I believe this is a very important POSITIVE thing we can do.

As Rugblyman said, there are things the club can and should be doing to reassure fans that they have the situation under control.

Communications from the club are not as good as they should be. There really ought to be an official Dons' representative posting on here as this is the main on-going discussion area for fans. Keeping the fans informed should be a very important part of the club's public relations policy. This forum should be an ideal platform for them to do that.

If the club don't want to lose fans, I would urge them to come on here and address the issues raised by the supporters.

I agree we should all stick together for the good of the club, and I know from chats I have had the Dons players are hurting and I think DR is hurting team spirit as players who perform are just being dropped or played out of position in favor of Hull lads.

I do think communication from the club is horrible its ok posting news articles on the site and social media but nothing has come officially to address some concerns supporters may have. This is one thing we were told that the merge into Club Doncaster would improve....it did and now its gone.

I do think some supporters have a right to be agitated and annoyed with the club as they were sold promises of great things in order to get them to hand over their hard earned cash for a season ticket only to find out that the club has not come good on these promises or lived up to the hype, If I had spent my money on a season ticket on the basis of being told we had the largest playing budget ever and some exciting targets for signing lined up I would to be asking much more serious questions.

For the record I didn't buy a season ticket as I am not in a financial position to do so and only attend games when I can (non so far this year). That however shouldn't mean I have less right to an opinion I have supported the Dons now for almost 30 years (I am now sounding like my Dad) and there have been some great times and some very dark times...and more dark times than great it has to be said so I think we can be a little pessimistic when bad follows good as its the typical Dons cycle.

Hopefully a good win on Sunday will lighten the mood and relax the players and how knows a big signing or at least an experienced signing (akin to Snitch) could be just what we need.

Mark aston (sorry for swearing) has said he will be adding more quality to the seagulls playing squad this week, not content with 4 wins from 5 and also dropping brambani for average performances why cant we aim high and be ruthless? we need cookey and carl to stay here for as long as poss but with a more positive attitude, we have more sponsers now than ever before, a great playing surface, were coming off a fantastic season, things have never looked so good in ages but the transfer dealings and lack of ambition has surprised me. This was the season to see the dons go to another level but certain promises have been broken, i still retain the fact we will stay up (only just) but 5 games in and confidence is waning and enthusiasm seems very low. Seagulls sign keal carlile a very good hooker who at 25 should be nearing his peak, not saying we have the same pulling power or loose change to bring a player of that quality in but it just goes to show the difference in ambition between our clubs

Quite a few clubs were allegedly after Keal Carlile. I wonder if the Dons made any enquiries?

I suspect our pulling power to attract new players was probably at its greatest when we finished fourth. We don't look as attractive now.

True, its a shame as we have a stadium fit for super league and more sponsers backing the club than ever before but once again i refer back to the poor recruitment pre season.

In the dug out with Carl should answer some of the disgruntled supporters, time to get behind the team
