In case it had escaped you, we were talking about Steve Hossack a local journalist associated with the Star and Free Press.
And the Free Press and the Star have been guilty of some right howlers over the years with regard to wrong information and pictures in their reports of Dons games.

all i'm saying is that journos like players,fans,refs etc etc get it wrong sometimes or miss it altogether or quite often get a different perspective on a certain situation

what may be a fantastic piece of inventive forward play by Paul Cooke to a hardcore Donny fan may just be terrible defending by the opposition in the view of someone else, or whatever....

just as a side issue - I was listening to an interesting interview by Phil Dowd (FA Cup Final ref) on Talksport and he was saying that reffing mistakes ,some of which he has made years ago still haunt him and even cause him sleepless nights - maybe refs are human after all ?

what gets my goat is , stanky was scathing of his teams sub standard display spread over many paragraphs and not one word of credit to the dons we were under the cosh for the first 25 mins defending our line then took over the game, so mr stanky give credit where its due,a far better team beat your side,i wont be one of them brown nosers who say you will be up there come the end of season cos you wont be..

Correct. I have been at many games which have been televised and have played hell with the refs decisions but when i have watched the video the day after realised they were right after all!

Theres no way that Stanky was going to give us any praise after what went on a few years ago. He'll be quick to open his gob again though if they manage to turn things round and get a result against us on Sunday.On last weeks performance I dont think they will be up there either.There are some ood teams in this league this year.
