Got to agree with you there Ratters.... I'm well surprised he's gone to Hull on a long contract? Was a decent player back in 2007 in the Championship but I wouldn't swap either of our halves for him.

Dont think there is any doubt that Tickle would be happy to come to us, where there appears to be doubt is whether Hull are prepared to sell him for an acceptable fee. Things may loosen up a little when Hull are able to announce a few decent signings of their own!

Allegedly Robinson asked for the same deal as Brown, which we are supposed to have declined, so this is supposed to have stopped things in their tracks, but its hard to know what is really going on behind the scenes. If we had signed all the players we were linked with for this season we would have a first team squad of 60 and have bust the cap by a couple of million!

Grix as you say is a more realistic target, since he has been with us in the Championship, but again i will wait to hear something more concrete.

He's had a shocking time with injuries before us and got a little one at a bad time here. We are unlikely to see if he's worth it this year on field BUT what be a shame if we got him right then saw his potential realised elsewhere.

Aye problem is a fully fit Briscoe and what do you do? Kearney can play 6 but you have Kevin Brown so probable 3 best players fitting in to 2 slots.

Personally my target would be a centre using Phelps when Briscoe out who in his own right is a very good SL Full back. Then allow Isa / Marsh / Dean to fight for other spot whilst also being wing options (Dean back row too).

All options though mate and competition for places will make us stronger as a team.We all know injuries occur and a good squad is required.Marsh has not signed yet, but maybe soon.

Depends on Kearneys demands and for me we need a proper 7, as i still cant figure out Hanburys best postion.I like Hanbury but seems a player with great pace over 30 meters, like Johnny Davies at his peak.

you need a big intimidating forward as i have said previously pickersgill is not a prop or a starting player or even a bench player god knows why he got another year must be cheap lol but cross is getting better and he is now adding try scoring to his ability ha ha but hope you get some good players and i said this season is about finding feet (you are getting there), weeding out the crap players (yet to see), and seeing what positions need a boost and in my eyes you need prop x1 at least, alot of people are saying a 7 but hanbury will go well with gametime, a hooker and i hope you keep mcshane and 1x centre then maybe a couple of squad players 2nd rowers utility players

I disagree as we have plenty of props now with Cross,Pickersgill,Davies,O Carroll,Kite,and Kavanagh.6 props is what is required, but if Kite goes i think one prop.Dean has played well recently and we will sign a hooker.We are not made of money like Warrington either, and i think Pickers is a bench player in my opinion, as done well in the last few games.Remember he has only just recovered from a serious neck injury.We know we need a few extra players, and i dont need a cocky Wire fan spouting off.Had too many Wire fans on here talking about how poor we are, and i wish they all sod off.We are not made of money and their is a salary cap?Not getting enough fans to buy quality like Wigan or Warrington.
