Absolutely reverend. I think our problem was that we won 13 on the bounce and assumed that it would continue. We are a top four side - nothing more really. Hull KR and Castleford seemed to dominate all the way through the season when they were down here. We (nor anyone else) have not managed to follow that example in 2009.

Dont think thats down too a lack of domination from anyone , more of a more even competition.

Barrow Widnes Fax Haven Sheff and Fev could all turn each other over on any given day. Batley Toulouse GHead have all done teams at times. Its just a good comp all in all, with no really eay to predict games.

TBH I think they'll all get SL clubs! Lee off Salford and can see Horne there as well! Tony is a crock and will go back home whilst Thacks will get a SL side... always does, King most likley but again can't see it tbh as he'd just dig heels in and take the big many FC are paying him for 1 more season!

Realistically not though. All the above mentioned are decent Champ players either rising stars, Eg Kavanagh or past it eg Gannon but Aizue can still hold his own at SL level. We got a good one there and it all makes for an even better season next year, if only SL was as good.

it does seem that way doesnt it.

it is a difficult one though.

we needed to keep the playmakers at the club and a lot of the other players because we knew that there would be interest in much of the squad that we had.

we lost total confidence after you know what. It does look like they have a cntract and the game has gone a little since but we are back.

how many times have you seen him play in the last 3 years? The rovers fans say he's a lot better player than when he last played in this league, i'll take their opinion before yours.

Jamie Thackray would be a brilliant signing for anyone in this league if he got his head straight and could stop gamblig/drinking..........very very unlikely.
