I wonder whether this pony tail has grown back yet?!?!?
Only joking... Manu would be good. I'll believe these signings when they start getting announced. Until then my excitement is tempered a little.
Let's get some of our lads announced in the interim. Flynn, Varks and the exciting youngsters.
Hulme, Craven, Gore etc..

| Jeff Robson who was in talks with an unamed UK club is now joining Cronulla from Parramatta!
Any SL based half backs available... Sean Long is the only that comes to mind tbh as can't see anyone else! And with Jamie Ellis signing for Hull not sure any in Champ are good enough / at the right age to take up from elsewhere?

| Though in star wars fashion.., there is another...
Surprising to me but apparently Tim Smith (ex Wigan {but don't try and link it}) actually wants a return to SL! He has his issues but is still at a good age and certainly has the talent and if he WANTED to be over here it could work out.
Robson joining Cronulla could back his departure too... They also have John Morris (playing 9 but natural half back) who could be an option but his new found versatility could keep him in NRL I reckon.

Lauaki is a maybe, but not sure I would waste a quota spot on him.
Not a chance of Manu, one of our best players and signed on for another year.
Players at Hull OOC that might interest you.
Phelps.
Washbrook.
Burnett.

just a thought, ive always thought he could be brilliant if he wasnt in a team as weak as the dodgy cheap booze in toppers. Luke Gale? could he be tempted from the rugby league powerhouse of quins? i would certainly investigate that is if was in charge. but then again, im not.

Don't worry one of your fans e-mailed RFL within 0.2 secs of appearing in Hull press ![DOH icon_biggrin.gifOH:](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//eusa_doh.gif)

I'm not surprised at that TBH ![Very Happy icon_biggrin.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_biggrin.gif) ,i think all of us are a little more touchy than usual at the moment.
No one seems to be kicking up a fuss a the club so i guess hull went through the right channels.

Not deffo but would be suprised if the club kept any of these.
I think Ellis is a replacement for washbrook next year.
Washbrook was Excellent in 2006, since then he has gone a bit backwards, to be fiar to him the club have moved him about playing standoff and hooker.
If he had a decent run at 13 at a new club he would do well IMO.
All the 3 players mentioned would do a job for you next season, you may want a better player thanPhelps on the quota though.
Another 2 players who would be good signings IMO, Jordan Turner (another year left but I feel that Hull might release him) and Fitzgibbon depending on if he decides to retire or if Hull decide they don't want him.

Hull sign Heremaia www.hullfc.com/newsarticle.aspx?n=17357
I do hope PC has some top quality lined up to talk too when he gets down their and is simply finalising deals as you'd hate to think we have missed out on a few wanting to put the personal touch in where others may have just picked up the phone!

| Would love to see Widnes sign some of the players mentioned. Brent Webb would be an awesome signing. Signing players like this would push Widnes straight into the top 8 if they can spend to the full cap. The fans will flood in with a few big name signings.

| At the end of the day Webb would be a great signing, I can see reasons for playing him in the half's, it's essential that we get a good 7 though if that's the case.

Maybe a change of club would do Webb a world of good but to me hemlocks finished this year. His passing is out of the NFL.

No thanks, we have better players in our current squad than both of them.
We've bigger fish to fry.

Interesting as i'd be happy with Hudson as a good experienced SL hooker, however reading that board Cas fans would be happy to let go now, which isn't a good sign.
I liked McGoldrick but tbh I think it's just his effort and character as when you study him as a rugby league player you really do fail to see what he actually does?

The reason fans wouldn't be too bothered about Hudson going is we have 2 younger hookers in our team now in Adam Milner and Daryl Clark. Hudson is behind these 2 in our team and is supposedly on a high wage so wouldn't be a massive loss if he was to go now. He is a decent player still and could still do a job but he has lost pace this last year.
Mcgoldrick is a tricky one. Some love him, some hate him. I would be dissapointed to see him go if it is true as he is really our only back up for if Chase or Orr get injured. He is good at putting short balls out wide for the second rowers/centres to run off but he can't really control a game and doesnt have a kicking game. I still think he would offer you something if he did sign though.
