I don't think that they were told what to do, what leverage do the RFL have over the clubs it's not like they could kick them out for not voting the right way as that would show blatant corruption. They can't block funding as that would be a detriment to the product and the league. Nigel Woods can't threaten to leave the sport as that would be a good thing.
Most club voted that way because they wanted the away crowds that Bradford bring and the slight possibility of a reduction in sky money.
It's not right that Bradford are being bailed out when other clubs were left to rot but to blame the RFL when the Super League Clubs including our own have as much a hand in this is rubbish.
