It can be denied quite easily by simply looking at what he did to Johnny Whiteley.

It was a shocking thing to do. The photo's should be put back up immediately. However, it wasnt done as a personal attack on Johnny Whiteley but rather to get his bigger point across. It was clumsy, pretty crass but ultimately very effective.

Whatever the underlying reasons, it was not the action of a generous man. Period.

Correct. Although others have speculated that the confidentiality clause does in fact work in both directions and Allam has simply ignored it. All we really know is that there is a clause and it covers the tenants at least.

There is a lot more to come here, and I doubt any of it will be good.

What kind of proof would you like?

Someone who has seen the tenants agreements claims that there is a clause preventing discussion of details regarding the lease or rental arrangements. It seems plausible, and our previous owners certainly referred to such a clause.

Although this Event Management company have the catering franchise it is still the SMC that sold them the franchise. Hence, we boycott the drinks and catering side and see where that takes us.

I honestly don't think he was looking for a reaction from the fans. I think he was looking for a reaction from Pearson/FC and/or the Council. And I'm not entirely convinced that removing the JW pictures was key as that was the one thing that might generate more widespread opposition. I think the removal of memorabilia in general was meant to be the trigger and JW was collateral damage.

Reading the reaction of the neanderthals on the not606 thread to the SMC statement is quite embarrassing, plus I'm so glad we have a swear filter on here, as i'm not sure of the age of anyone who can join that site, but the language is atrocious.

Also, someone on there mentioned it was Paul Duffen who took a 3.5million loan out against the SMC, what's that got to do with Hull FC, Hull City or The Council? The Allams bought the SMC, the loan is their problem.

Fair points although it is possible that he thought that upset fans getting on the clubs back to defend itself may have dragged out a comment which was his ultimate aim.
Whatever is true it is possible that the statement today is be just him ratcheting up the pressure for the council and club to say something.
I guess my point is that I doubt this is going to be his last dice throw and the club/council may eventually be forced into a statement if their position becomes untenable.

Just read the not606 thread. The City fans still haven't grasped the fact that the 50 million that was "pumped into" the club was a loan. And they call us thick!
