I said it last week and got a slating. It happened at one point against Rovers and we picked up. I'll say it again.

Thorman and Horne don't combine. One works one side one works the other which is one big reason we're playing one man rugby. Let Berrigan and Lee control the middle with Lee making sure the ball gets shipped with speed to Horne and Thorman.

name them and tell me who replaces them, thorman been poor yes. Is he a better full back than hall yes. Can we put anyone better in at 7 ? Doubtful. I can name a few equally as poor but can we replace them with any better in that given position on all known form. I think not.

Errrrr Hall to Wing which he can cover better than F/B and Reardon at F/B...which he is.

Personally think Lee deserves a run at 7 if were not gunna get anyone in. Doesn't really matter now though as us signing reardon shows that agar doesn't see thorman covering at fb.

hall was as bad as the players you mentioned, but has he outshone them in previous games this season, I think some people on here must watch another game to me, in my opinion and you have voiced yours which your entightled too, craig hall will never make it in superleague.

I totally accept Hall offers an attacking threat, but this, IMO, is outweighed by his error rate and poor, sometimes terrible, decision-making. This is not the wholly unreasonable viewpoint you and Baldy like to suggest it is. FWIW I wouldn't drop him either given we have no backs left, but he wouldn't be in my 17 if everyone was fit/available and neither would there be a queue of clubs trying to steal him away from us if he were OOC this year.

what makes you think he can cover wing better than full back, full back and wingers have a very similar job nowadays, I just wish the kid could beef up and make a centre cos that's his only hope, not strong enough at the moment to even bring the water on.

IMO if Hall were coached and used correctly he would be one of the better centres in SL. Or even a very fine FB. At the moment he is being buggered about, partly through ineptitude and partly through necessity.

Hes played there a few times before, Reardon has his best games at full back from what ive seen of him.. And also having Whiting with Yeaman it will keep Gidley quiet

Yeamo should concentrate on being a useful centre first.

Think he's ran the ball in powerfully the last couple of games, just isn't running the lines he used to but considering there's no one to put him through why bother??

I think we've done this one to death now. You rate him and would include him on the off-chance he gets the opportunity to show his skill and pace. I wouldn't (if everyone was fit) as he puts his team mates under too much pressure with the number of mistakes he makes and weak tackling. Glad he's getting a breather tomorrow and he played very well against Wakefield last season so hoping he can reproduce that on Friday.
