Think he's been a really good stop-gap for us but the nature of the injury would just sway me to let him go.

Whether we sign Chase or not Seymour will not be a staring half back next season. Pearson has already told us that this years half backs aren't good enough. Seymour has only started recently due to the unavailability of others, only last week he was benched for McGoldrick and Heremaia. He's a dead man walking as far I'm concerned.

We were looking at 4 players not just Chase, yes he's the number one target but there are clearly others. Do you honestly think Pearson is the type of bloke to make a statement like he did then decide that oh well I tried but we'll go with what we've got although it isn't good enough. Not a chance.

Time will tell but if Rangi doesn't happen I'm all ears for suggestions of somebody that is gonna satisfy the demands of some of our supporters.

IF Chase has signed there will be no better time to announce it than tomorrow, firstly to shut that idiot at Cas up.. Secondly it will help with Season Pass Sales this week and thirdly it will help get a bigger crowd for what is more than likely our last Home game of 2012.

If we don't get him for visa reasons (he stays at Cas or goes to Aus), then there is nothing we could have done about it.

I think there's more chance of me playing for Cas than Rangi next year, I really don't think they can afford to keep him after listening to the CEO and seeing the signings they have already made.

The Club has stated they are trying everything to get Chase at the Club even Lawyers.If there cannot sort it out then
