they do want to come to clubs that treat players with respect, that is for sure.

Waterhouse is incredibly over rated and nothing certainly not in the same class of backrowers as Fitz, O'Donnell, Puletua etc

Couldnt disagree more if he was a workhorse he would be a good signing. Waterhouse is as soft as they come, the guy is a luxury player who when the going gets tough gets hidden.

Wouldn't have thought he'll be going anywhere fast, scoring tries for fun in he NRL. I think he might also be tied to the Doggies for another year or two.

Put it this way i'd rather have Waterhouse than Seymour, i'm a Nulla fan and when he was there, Nulla had a brilliant defence but not noted for their attack, solid half back won't set the world alight. Anyway we have a coach that can get a performance out of people.

Seymour was the correct kind of signing, theres no way you could put Ellis straight in as first choice.
The likes of Barba and Boyd etc won't be seen over here for at least 5 years especially with the NRL's new cap budgets.

It's a an irrelevant comparison as it depends on what the team needs. Waterhouse has been avergae for a while now, not because he has signed for you but that has always been my opinion of him. He had a spell a number of years ago where he played at a high level but not seen him anywhere near that since.

Anyway we need a halfback so regardless of how good/bad Waterhouse is he is not what we need.

I'd say a solid NRL half back should go pretty well in Super League. Especially as he's still only 26.

Agreed, especially when some say Dobson is one of the best Scrum Halves in our League yet he could not break into the first team in NRL. I expect him to go well and expect his most valuable asset to us will be his kicking game.
