Yes Brough had a couple of chances before doing ok in SL. Agar didnt say that Moore would never be a good player and that we weren't looking at him though. His comments shouldnt be taken out of context. (and for all of his failings the one thing i trust Agar for his his judgement when signing young players. His development of said young players can sometimes be questionnable but he's a top class scout) |

Strange one that.......he was waiting in the wings behind Burrow for 3 years in the Leeds Academy, and that was when Leeds won three titles on the Bounce....and Burrow almost ever present.
The story was he apparently got fed up of waiting.
I saw captain Leeds in the Academy grand Final against St Helens a few years ago at Headingley and he won it single handedly whilst running Kyle Eastmond ragged all the game. Just shows you how two career paths can be so different if you get a break. |

I think what Agar actually came out with was that Moore was happy playing National Leagues at this time after not being able to breakthrough in SL previously. He was happy being a certain starter but that may change.

Well it looks like Horney won't be starting the campaign, so if Sammut's here then he will start with Longy and Horne will have to fight his way back into the team. But the point I was basically making is 3 proven halves are better then 2. One gets injured, the other automatically fills his place. |
