Exactly my thought of the team,considering Gleeson is struggling,and would benefit from the weekend off to ready himself for the Hudds game.

Does anyone no why that many tickets have been sold? Usually when a top teams player a lower league team they don't take many.
I'll say there'll be about 4900 there. We usually get 3600 (with about 10 away supporters) and there'll probably some stupid people who don't go because we've appointed Betts as the coach.

While that game was on today, there was a Widnes vs Warrington amuater town team match for the late Chris Percivel, thats why I and more Widnes fans didnt turn up today.

I thought our goal line defence was poor today and when Widnes got near our line they came away with points. I think it was probably down to attitude and the fact that we were playing against a championship team so I'm not too worried but it should have been better.

just got back from widnes, not the best but, enough for a comfortable win, out of interest does anyone know what capacity the stand holds behind the sticks (it seemed to be full) we did all we had to do and nothing more tbh bring on the quarters

Tbf you look at crowds average in season and Widnes way ahead.

Coils throw out many excuses and cup crowds on the low as it is. But I won't as I was bitterly disappointed with our turn out and posted as such on our other site. Some of excuses from some our 'fans' in the build up were unbelievable and simply pathetic but we did play Toulouse at home last and got 3,600 with no away fans so it's not too bad though I was hoping for a good 5,000 figure so disappointed on that front.

Great turn out from your bunch, I'd say about 1,500 with big part of that stand cordoned off (no I don't have a clue, why either) and hope we'll see a great crowd for the fixture next season too
