He certainly did, but he also had team mates who generally played the game with a lot of enthusiasm and commitment. This in-turn gave him the runners and options; something Berrigan has not had the luxury of at Hull, to showcase his skills and creativity. I am sure Berro can do likewise now that he is in a team that should have a positive work ethic and mentality.

Jeff Doyle was quality at that time too, along with James Grant and Paul Sterling we had the best attacking left hand side in the league.

Lets hope so, it may stop him being a piiss head as well

Those of you that put Daniel Divet did not obviously see him play. And for those going about Marcus Bai, he came with no reputation at the begining of his career, signed by 1 coach not wanted by the next and then went onto great things with the storm.
Some people are just naming donkeys we had signed but for over rated I'd have to go for Matt Calland. Did he only manage the 1 game away at Cas before retiring with injury before popping up somewhere else.

I've not witnessed any of these antics personally, but have heard some of the stories. If these are true, then obviously it is some cause for concern.

But from a personal point of view, what ever he gets upto away from the rugby field I have been happy enough with his efforts on match day's on it.

He could take the easy option and not play (and still get paid) because of the injury he has but instead he puts his hand up week after week to bail the team out, as for the wage he demands we'll see why he does when he is playing HIS position and (hopefully) injury free.

Mind you had the club not given him such a wage and he gone to Wire (like Monaghan) instead, people would be on here moaning how the club are too tight and not willing to pay for quality players.

exactly.... all three have played massive games for australia and SOO.....anyone who plays in them teams isnt over-rated in my opinion.... you have to earn them jumpers without a doubt.....those teams dont pick themselevs unlike the GB squad......
if sing and berrigan were playing for saints or leeds for the last two years then sing would be top try scorer and berro would be a shoe-in for man of steel....

Sing was not overated, just way past his best. And I watched him regularly in his prime, live.

hunte worst signing for me.

In recent times, Berrigan has done nothing for us and needs to prove us wrong next season.

to be fair to him, Sing was one of the best players ever to come to hull , however we never saw it because he had a lot of bad injuries, was never playing outside anyone who could feed a decent winger and to be fair he was a tad past his prime in a very average side.
still thank him for playing on with injections masking injuries other lesser players would have sat in the stands with !!
but certainly not ever over rated
