| My favourite current rumours are:
Hardaker to Cas, Richardson to Wigan, Sneyd to Cas, Gale to Hull
O’Brien has asked to leave Cas is another rumour (taxi for Shaul)
Other rumours are John Woods and Andy Goodway to Hull ![Wink icon_wink.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_wink.gif) ( one for the kids )

Richardson seems the most un Wigan player ever. I can't imagine Wane wanting him.
When we getting Paul Sculthorpe anyway? ![Laughing icon_lol.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_lol.gif)

I miss the annual Kimmorley rumour.
I was at the GB Aus game at the KC in 03 when he played scrum half. Great player.

That’s when Horney played on the wing wasn’t it?
Great atmosphere that night

Yeah it was. He played outside Senior I think.
I was right in front of Connolly when he scored in the corner.

| Would love a game against Australia in Hull again.
I have a soft spot for the Kiwis, so can’t get too caught up in those games.
Australia is something else though.

| Fonuas problem I think was his success over here kinda inflated his ego, so upon his return he was always looking for the highlight reel big tackle, or big play. The problem was it didn't come off way too often and made him look a liability, I think if he d of bought into Hodgsons system and played as a unit and with brains he d of been OK.
The match against Leeds at home stood out for me, ball strips virtually on our try line when others in the tackle, trying to take hurrell on on the outside in our 20, with strength with about half a metre to work in, way too many stupid decisions, charging out the line how many times.
Not what you call a game smarts player, which were crying out for.

| Mr Cooke the headmaster has given us a grade F for our efforts.
I hope he’s going to sign our report, and not leave it in his filing cabinet, for the principal to discover later.
F troop pretty much summed us up though.

Tell tale tit
Danger danger
Who is the top Super League player who allegedly got into trouble with the police recently? This player is believed to have failed to stop after being involved in a road accident. There is concern he is going off the rails, with sources at his club telling this column they are worried.
Grand Trafford
The Super League grand final was a thing to savour. Perhaps most amusing though was the large number of French media who turned up because of Catalans. A lot of them hadn't actually applied for accreditation, and just rocked up and flashed their French press passes to get in. You've got to love the chutzpah. These journos were not shy supporting and cheering on the Dragons on massively during the game, putting any impartiality aside, but were obviously quiet and disappointed at full-time. C'est la vie.
No show
Also catching the eye on Saturday was another example of a journalist not turning up to a game, and covering it off TV, for a major media brand. In this day and age, how does he get away with it, especially the biggest game of the year in the grand final? It boggles the mind. Sadly, some others are regularly following suit.
Fighting around the world
Who was the former player who got involved in fisticuffs with a fan at a recent Super League game? We can't name them, but the incident has been kept quiet so far by those involved.
No Lewis
Salford have signed Brodie Croft from Brisbane for next year, but they were originally after Lachlan Lewis. The Canterbury playmaker though wasn't too interested in a move to Super League, so the Red Devils went for Croft instead. Turns out it was a smart move, especially as after that Lewis stole a speaker and was sacked by his NRL club. Good ol rugba leeg.
Spotted
One our sources spotted this in a newspaper at the end of September and sent it to us. It reads: "Mark Campbell, age 56, of Wakefield Road, Ackworth, was found guilty after a trial of criminal damage to an Audi car at Featherstone Rovers' ground. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge, told to pay £500 compensation and £200 costs."
Forbidden
There was a bit of drama at Wakefield late last month when the club announced Willie Poching as its new head coach. The news was embargoed, but that embargo was broken and Trinity were not happy about it at all. Club CEO Michael Carter sent out this email to members of the media: "It is really disappointing that one of you felt the need to pass the information immediately on to James O'Brien of Rugby League Live, who then reported the news at 10:13. You've let the rest of your profession down who could keep their mouths shut until 12pm. The embargo was to allow me to contact those who had not been successful - something I was unable to do. From now on, invites, press interviews etc etc, will not be made available to anyone who has an affiliation to Rugby League Live, unless the person has the guts to apologise for breaking the embargo. You only have yourselves to blame. I know I am tarnishing you all with the same brush, which is absolutely not what I want to do as I know most of you can keep an embargo. Bitterly disappointing, Michael."

Meh!! You think he would rather have the bright, vibrant, characteristic and historic city, just a short journey to beautiful coastal towns to Toulouse ![CRAZY d040.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//d040.gif)

| See there's an interview with Conor Wyne out today/yesterday saying he's happy playing fullback but his preferred position is now centre. Got some good mentors in Griffin & Tuimavave. Can also pick Shenton's brain too, won't do any harm.

what happened to the salary cap?
Taukeiaho is reputedly on $650,000 per season & has asked for
a release from the final year of his contract due to the `big money
on offer' in Super League ! - seriously?

If we don't sign another half back, i'd give
him some experience at No 6 in the pre season
friendlies, - (well it worked for Darren Lockyer!)

We have two young halfbacks, they should be given priority to play halfback particularly Hookem, who I think might break through this year.

Well I think the only SL signings annouced this week have been Fonua to Cas, Fages to Huddersfield and Adebiyi to Wakefield so not really that busy.
