In an ideal world, this signing would signal the end for Radford and Tickle but aren't they both contracted for next season already ??

I agree with the above post about them being one of the most ordinary SR partnerships in SL but I think we're stuck with them for at least one more season after this one.

played origin football last season plus he played in the world cup so he must have some thing to offer in rugby terms. as for his age, steve menzies seems to be doing a good job at bradford. well i hope it works and stays injury free... great goal kicker too, maybe now ticks might get spelled from time to time, but i doubt that very much... welcome craig

FTAO Hull FC: the team needs a scrum half, a fullback, an explosive prop, and if room as well, maybe a centre. Signing players other than these is just a futile exercise.

TBF we desperately need leadership and a goalkicker, this addresses both, it's not as if it's instead of a scrum half -we still have the cap to sign one as well.

Don't see a problem with his age, we are lacking in leadership and to be honest we are unlikely to find it domestically so it has to be from an overseas signing.

Think Agar said he was "one" of our signings for next season,who do you think the others could be,we might be very pleased.

Maybe on current form, but Tickle has previously shown that he can be a very good player so I don't see the need to import someone to do a similar job.

I also don't see why we couldn't find a player in a position we need to provide leadership. Just seems a signing for the sake of it to me, almost as if the club have felt they had to sign a big name ASAP after losing out on Crocker. It's just another move that raises more questions than it provides assurances that we're heading in the right direction.
