The club has been valued and there have been at least two occasions over the last 5 years or so where discussions have taken place with interested parties. The BOD are not actively trying to sell the club AFAIK. My point was that just saying 'the club is not for sale FACT' and claiming that no valuation has taken place is just plain wrong.

shame Pete hasn't the financial muscle of the two named.Am i right in saying that the reason Brid Town fc declined promotion from the northern counties east league after they won it last season,was because they couldn't afford the ground costs to upgrade?it was going to cost around £50k,but Smurthwaite said he/they couldn't afford it?

The hurdle any previous attempt at buying the club has always been Kath's valuation of her shares, figures of 5m are stated about the clubs value but when Kath wants over 3m for her shares alone and from recent figures she only has in the region of 30% of the clubs shares.

Obviously looking at those figures anyone wanting to buy the club is looking at a 10m investment just how many out there are willing to make that kind of investment ??

Maybe kath's £3m valuation is based on her current rate of return from her investment

BOD def do it for the love of the club , yeah right if they love the club that much why dont they give you Fc fans what you crave success and a top coach, but you all know that wont happen why it costs !!!! Money or Love i think the former....

So one question then is, how would the club's value reduce to make more affordable for a take over? Answer... stop their revenue streams by not going to games and dont buy merchandise. Kath would soon see her return fall and the value of the club drops with it.
