Good win for the team, but we have to back this up against Widnes on Friday. Also if any of the non-regulars out there today (such as Naughton, Howarth, Cunningham etc) has had a stormer they should keep their place and not be dropped if any of the usual names are fit.

A win certainly keeps us in with a shout of making the 8, but absolutely we have to back it up with a win against Widnes. But jeez we are getting in the positions but still not able to do the business and still making basic errors far too often.

Well that's a great result for mine, regardless of how other sides have done. Big morale boost for the team and the fans - especially those that have travelled. And a close match that we've managed to win for the first time in a long while.

With the other two teams directly above Cas are Cats and Widnes on 7 kicking off at 17:00. Widnes getting beat and then us taking them Friday could , could just start some sort of climb up the table.

After all our recent woes, I'm just enjoying the victory.

Credit where credit is due. Congratulations to everyone at the club.

However, if we do go on a fantastic run and now go on to win the Challenge Cup, Grand Final and also secure the World Club Championship, it will mean nothing to me this time next year.

Winning under pressure at the end is the most pleasing aspect for me, as we've generally fallen apart in tense games.

Very telling that Widnes have left 6 players at home,they will be looking to come and win friday.

Lets stick to worrying about our own games for now and enjoy the victory.

Been ill for the last week, too ill to go to the derby first one i have missed for years.

was going today, again too ill I am worried about missing Friday.

Yup. They've clearly targeted Friday as the more winnable game, and who can blame them?

Indeed, we'd have done the same, especially since Catalan's game on Thursday was so easy it was pretty much a training session.

Excellent news. If Cats beat them (and they've started well) then that gives us a great opportunity to go above Widnes on Friday.
