The main issue for me is having a back up as promised. I for one do not think Seymour is good enough for a team wanting a top 4 finish.

More than happy with the signings we've made so far but without another quality halfback I cant see us winning silverware anytime soon. The fact AP came out and said 'we know who the quality halfbacks in super league are, we've shortlisted four of them and will get two of them' is a little disappointing, as it seems as though were now scouring the NRL for a half decent youngster instead. I think signing Chase would have made a huge difference to pass sales as well, whereas now Im not so sure we'll reach the target 10k (unless we pull something out the bag).

Gareth ellis and West Tigers connection, plus he has being released for next season, would be a bit of a project as a bit of a loose cannon by all accounts but great potential,

I do not get this keep Seymour,as Biggarr has said,he is not a top half super league scrumhalf.
I can not believe that AP came out with the statement re two new half backs next season,as the ones we have are not good enough, without PG being in agreement.
If we do not have a back up in place,both AP and PG will have lost a lot of credibility in my eyes.

Exactly.. I thought AP wanted to do all he could to get bums on seats and passes sold. Ellis is a awesome signing who will be a great replacement for Manu but is he the cherry on top of the cake, nope I don't think so. Chase or similar would make the difference and get us playing more exciting Rugby and winning games with a fantastic attack... This is the sort of player we need to work with Holdsworth (the best No6 since Cookie)

No disrespect to Galea, Arundle or Sharpe all decent signings, but as I've said above non of them are gonna make the missing fans think wow I best get a pass for 2013.
