Not sure its quite irrelevant, if it had been Wigan or Catalans Paea had signed for i doubt he would have been mouthing off which does lead me to believe we have signed him. Maybe because of this Mickey may give the green light for it to be announced.

I can't see what hudgell is going on about . It's nothing like the McDonnell situation . He's already said paea as told him he's coming to hull , which he didn't have to , so what is he going on about . And even if it was like the McDonnell deal , again nothing he can do as long as the player as said he's leaving .

Awesome prop, im well happy with this as I've been going on since last year that this is the type of player we are missing (especially with Moa leaving).

How awesome would our pack be If we still had Moa and Manu.

Still hopefull for another Prop and Decent 2nd rower. (As well as Thompson)

I still think we need 1 more prop to be challenging for trophys all the time . Especially how lynch as been playing this season . I think we've seen the best of him now , he"ll take the ball in all day long but doesn't really offer much in attack anymore . Not sure if we will sign another but even without briscoes money been spare we needed 1 prop with omeley going anyway so it will be interesting to see who else we sign . Think we could do with a winger of some kind , either back up or first choice , to push lineham and crooks .

I agree, would like to see another big prop, even if it is another 'project' from the NRL or Championship.

Think it's a bit early to be writing Lynchy off. Think part of the reason he hasn't seemed to be as good as last season is partly down to being a little lighter in the forwards and think the loss of Manu & Moa and the impact they brought. Plus injuries to tickle & galea etc has meant Lynch has had to do a lot more work in regards to having been the one of a very few offering the size and teams not being as tired/tied up by having to Marshall the likes of Moa, Manu so much easy to target Lynch in number.

I hope Hull take their time in announcing this. Partly because it will really annoy grudge, and partly because it will show that we wont have the news and promotions coming out the club dictated by that weasel. In a funny way I can see Hudge's point. When I read the article about Paea leaving, I thought his agent was pretty derogatory towards Rovers, and I can understand why he was annoyed that the agent put the reason Mickey was leaving in the public domain, he could have just sid that he wanted to move on. But for him to come out like he did yesterday is just as bad. If i'm leaving my employer, its none of their business where i'm going to. Hes a very bitter little man.

Nice of Sandercock to chip in this morning with a comment saying they weren't prepared to pay 'ridiculous money' for Paea,I'm quite enjoying this more than the potential announcement. Let's hope we bide our time a bit and see if we can get a full set of coach,captain,chairman and CEO.

There iss just so much bitterness over the East side it's untrue, really are becoming bit of an embarassment to the sport and the City.

After listening to talksport from last night as i missed it. There seems to be alot of hate on this subject on both Paea and FC..

The blame should be with Paea's Agent. End of day we don't need to announce it straight away, even though it would be good to do so. But can't a player ask for his announcement to be scheduled for end of season so he can concentrate with his rugby with the current club??

Reasons being because now Hudgell has announced it, Paea could get alot of stick throughout the season.

And we'll get more out of Paea than they got out of C**ke .
