It's a "rumour" I heard today from someone close to the club, put on by me on a rumour thread, I aint naming any sources.

Not bothered about who your source is mate, but is he close enough to the club for his info to be nailed on ?

I seem to remember him getting some flak off a poster or two a while ago who thought he wasnt trying since it had been announced he was off to Saints

He will be a massive loss no doubt about it and tbf I think AP knows this as he has alluded to it in interviews about losing a couple of players they hadn't planned on.
His performances on the pitch have been outstanding this last month! I hope he gets a fantastic send off at our last game, the bloke definitely deserves it

I agree and really hope we do manage to give him the send off he deserves.

One of the most exciting players we have had in the modern era and definitely made it more bearable watching us at times during the "Agar years" *shudders*

Maybe we should have a "fact" thread for good sources, then again how do you define "a good source". Some rumours are completely off the wall and laughable, others are believable. The guy who told me, in my humble opinion is not one to make things up (so maybe a good candidate for a "good source/fact" thread eh?). It will not be a fact until announced by the club, get it?

Depends if people spend years build up sources all over the world, including people at Hull FC

It always amuses me that people get uptight when someone posts a rumour on here.
People may hear a whisper and put it on here. It doesn't mean it will happen - hence the "rumour" element in the thread title.

I was told last week by someone who has many ties to the club whom I would class as an excellent source but I still wouldn't say its a fact as he was only repeating what he'd been told.

Therefore it's a rumour, and with this being a rumours thread it's the perfect place for it and you shouldnt have to justify it.

If you don't like rumours I suggest you stay off the thread. No one has to name a source or post facts. The thread is for rumours, I don't understand your issue with this.

When posting rumours can we put a percentage of certainty with it?
