| A real shame IMO, but on the plus side Brad Fash has seized his opportunity with both hands.

| You would imagine Hadley unlikely to earn more than 4k a month (give or take) which is a pretty marginal impact on salary cap.
Hopefully it is because he is getting regular games with long minutes which Radford thinks he really needs at this stage of his career.
At Hull even if in 17 he would likely get less minutes, which is more suitable for someone like Turgut who is just starting out. Hopefully in the mid to long term it will benefit all concerned.

Quite possible. It wouldn't surprise me at all if this was the case.

| I think it's just good man management to have him at Wakefield. He wouldn't get as much playing time with us at the minute. He goes there and plays much more minutes and comes back to us game hardened and ready to take the place if whoever retires of moves on. As for Fash well that's just one massive bonus if he remains consistent. Downs and Turgut look handy as well. I don't think we need to worry at all about the situation.

I thought with the live cap you couldn't sign any player that would take you over the cap so I don't see how we could be over it but I can't see any other reason he'd have been there with our recent injury problems. Like I said, I saw him at the KC on Friday in his FC gear so I don't think there's been a fall out

| It's a ridiculous situation that we've got ourselves into where we can't actually fit all of our contracted players under the salary cap. We must be paying some serious wedge to some players. Wakey had 8 missing against salford and still managed to field a team good enough to win and I bet they're still well under the cap

| What 8 players did Wakey have missing.
I think we are at cap as Radford has assembled a good squad on paper, the players we have in key positions will be on good wages, Shaul, Kelly, Sneyd, Taylor, Watts, Houghton, Manu, Mini and Ellis will all be on door salaries, add to this trying to run a reserve team.
We had a lot of cap missing on sat and put in a good performance. We have been hit with injuries and suspensions this year but are still close to the top 5 and still in the cup and that's accredit to the squad Radford has built within the cap.

We had plenty of cap missing in the previous 3 games which we lost. We have a good first 17 but beyond that only 2 or 3 with significant first team experience then we're into inexperienced kids. They've done OK this far and maybe 6+ first teamers will stretch any squad but it seems the way of the world now so we maybe need more depth to the squad moving forward or your season could be over before it begins

| I think I am right in saying that somebody only counts on a clubs cap if he plays for them. At present Hadley hasnt played for Hull yet this season so has a cap figure of 0 for hull but as soon as he plays for them his full wage if he is in their top 25 earners counts on the cap and by all accounts would take hull over the cap.

I don't think the issue is the general wage bill, it's the winning bonuses that the CC squad received that's the issue from what I've heard.

If that's the case why not make the loan for the season and not month by month?

| Maybe that's on Wakefields terms? Perhaps they didn't want a year long deal, and preferred to do it this way.

Don't profess to know how it all works but could it be that the cap runs annually so any bonus in theory could be "spent" by early September? Just guessing.

The highlighted sections are the important bits. They can only be excluded if they're already accounted for. Maybe we didn't account for any win bonuses for obvious reasons?

Dont know the ins and outs but maybe we dont want to take him for the full year in the event that he picks up a nasty injury which would mean us paying the wages of another teams player who is not playing for us. Might sound selfish from us but I guess we have to look after our own interests.
