| I would fancy APs chances of raising funds from elsewhere above Allam's tbh. AP will have a lot of contacts.
The stadium should stay a community facility though. Neither tenant calling the shots.

Pearson also believes it would be wrong for the council to sell and thinks it would probably be legally difficult anyway, and I certainly haven't changed my stance on that. He was more making the point that if the council weakened out of financial desperation Allam wouldn't have it his own way. In a free market there would be more than one potential buyer.

From what I understand, AP has a pretty good relationship with the council (hence his personal involvement in the original lease agreement). Interesting. The scenario of Allam being Pearson's tenant, however remote, is hilarious.

I think he said Saints weren't at the meeting, the chap from Castleford is ill so wasn't there and Bradford can't vote anyway. Hetherington was trying to crash the changes through even though they weren't meant to be discussed at that meeting.

Fingers crossed that the Lib Dems don't get control of the council, now that would throw a spanner in the works.

I can't think of anyone who would sit through a meeting when they are trying to be bounced into a vote.

Rhino's fans getting quite defensive about Hetherington (understandable), but having heard what Adam had to say about this weeks meeting I have to say I agree with the decision taken to walk out.

Saints and Cas were the 2 I couldn't understand, so that suggests an explanation. Also, if true, that now means that more clubs left in protest than stayed in favour, as by my count:
Left (6) : Hull, Rovers, Wigan, Wire, Hudds, Catalan
Not present to begin with (2) : Saints, Cas.
No vote (1) : Bradford.
Leaving 5: Leeds, Wakey, Widnes, Salford, London.
Again, IF TRUE, that's starting to look very iffy and really poor form by the RFL. Firstly, a vote of such importance should not have even been broached without all interested parties having representatives there. Secondly, if it wasn't on the agenda it should not have been brought up. Thirdly, those 5 in favour make interesting reading.

| I'd imagine with Pearsons sporting connections, a serious offer to the council would be considered more than the Egyptian Fruitcake's.
At least it'd stop the self-promoting squash tournaments that fecked the pitch.

| Pleased with what AP had to say, as usual. Also Radders talks a lot of sense, interesting comments about our attack last season. I'm hopeful that the decision to switch coaches was the right thing to do.

| What I took away from that was there was many a disagreement between PG and Radders (and probably Andy Hay) about the structure of our game-plans and the preparation for games.
If you notice, Wigan don't alter their game plan by very much. This caters too much to mis-interpretation of the plans and confusion when players are off injured or whatever.
Radford wants a single, all-encompassing game-plan.

He also mentioned something strange going on at Wakey - Uncle Kath seemingly being parachuted in even though she hasn't bought the club. He certainly seems to have his finger on the pulse.

It's starting to look like blinkmanship and as long as the rebels stay strong I think it won't be long before the likes of Koucash will drop the RFL and switch when their position becomes untenable.

The only problem with this is if we have the same attacking structure for every team week in week out surely its going to be easier to defend by other teams.

Wigan have done it all year and won both cups so it must be worth a go. its having the right runners out wide and been clinical in finishing. Richards/Tomkins/Charnley scored 50% of there tries with almost the same moves. dummy runners going through and hitting the man around the back its hard to defend out wide as it sucks in the centres and wingers.
