Good draw today, it's certainly something to build on and a great start to the season. Hard game next week but confidence should be good and that should hold us in good stead.

Wow. Hugely exciting game for a first competitive match. Great effort from both teams and effectively we dropped a point through errors. Pack stood up magnificently in the second half when tbh I'd feared the worst. Promoting the ball continually when last year we'd have shut up shop and ended up getting ted in the last quarter. We're not going to die wondering this year, some fierce defence at the end and determination, entertaining throughout. Pretty pleased for a first full hit-out.

How did Nicklas do and was it a decent attendance in the end?

Before the game if I'd have been told that we'd get a point I'd have been more than happy. Whilst we could have won the game, we were playing the team that last season scored the most points and conceded the fewest so I'm very happy that we've gotten a draw. This shows that we have the ability to match any side in SL and now we need to build on this performance.
I couldn't get to the match today so I had to listen on the radio but Danny Tickle sounded very good today, as did Houghton.

Nobody got sucked in, it was a well worked try on Warrington's part. Why look for someone to blame?

Was impressed by the performance today , thought tickle was immense and also thought aspinwall did really well off the bench for us .

Good crowd in that weather, would have easily have been 15K+ in decent conditions IMO.

It was well worked from Warrington, they just out numbered us on that side. Relentless pressure took it's toll. Was you moaning about him when he scored ?

Aspinwall's spell at prop was outstanding considering the quality of the opposition.

Was a great effort from the lads today, was disappointed not to get the win but if someone offered me the draw before the game I'd of bit their hand off!
The effort in defence was really good, and played some good stuff in attack. A few times they looked a little clueless at times provinding no runners so getting flatend by the defence.

Sharp seems full of confidence after Agar knocked it all out of him. Which is great to see.

Only thing that did annoy me was that I again got sat next to some posh numptys, slating Martin everytime he got the ball. He wasn't great but he did his job and you can't expect him to stop the Warrington team everytime they have the ball out wide. After all they are the best team in the league imo. Even blaming him for conceding the try at the end! Really wound me up, clueless tvvat.

Regarding McKinnnon, I still think he'll turn out to be our best signing of the season. Yeah he made a few errors when returning the ball but constant errors aren't apart of his game thankfully. Was good to see him following the ball about in the middle expecting the offload, and received it a few times only to be called back for a forward pass. Would of scored aswell if it wasn't for some good defence from Warrington in the second half.

No but I can see that he has faults, more than many would accept.
