He's been a right winger at both Wakey and Rovers, I don't think I've ever actually seen him play on the left.

I agree with a few on here that fox will be a good signing for someone. His loss of form and confidence is baffling, he looked on top form in preseason yet he has crumbled visibly since, makes me wonder if there are other issues affecting him.

Off field issues def, the guy dosnt become a bad player overnight, if he gets his head back would take him over Sharp any day of the week.

He would be a better coach than what we have now, but I suspect a little long in the tooth and behind the times. Certainly had as good a record at Bradford Northern as Nobby.

Despite having the number 2 shirt he started off at left wing for Rovers. After he got picked for England he was moved to the right wing to 'help his selection chances' - presumably because he and/or Morgan thought he had a better chance of displacing Briscoe than Hall. To be fair Sharp is a left winger too . Its just a shame that the Coach never experimented with Briscoe on the right wing and Sharp outside Yeaman.

He started out on the right in 2008, with Fitzhenry on the left iirc. When Fitzhenry became a utility back/hooker in 2009, Fox switched to the left and Colbon came in to play right wing. Fox (eventually) made his 'proper' England bow against the Kiwis on the right, scoring a couple of tries in England's only decent result of the last few years. He and Colbon switched in 2010, as you say - he didn't tour but was still in SM's elite squad at the beginning of the season.
I think the wing switch was perhaps a contributory factor, but IMO it has mainly been a downward cycle of diminishing form and confidence. People like to pin things on a single thing for convenience, but life, even sport, is generally more complicated.
If it is true that we're looking to offload him, I'm surprised - he could easily bounce back next year. If he was ooc, it'd be different maybe.

What a myth that is, The Brother never said one word about McKinnon or Seymour. He did however announce Heremaia, but that's only because of Berro, who's ring piece The Brother was licking for the 3 years he was here.

I know i can be a right negative get on here but come on guys, stop slating every player that weve got coming in. Its the Agar factor thats doing this to us all and we need to concentrate our efforts on making it known we want him gone and not just sitting back and slagging everything. A new coach and a couple of forwards for next season and we could quite easily become a top four side imo.

just had a phone call fron the brother who says we have signed Brett Seymour !! this was from biffa fc about 3 weeks before it was confirmed and few days before it was in the paper . Was no mention of it before that

That was Heremaia iirc. Suppose it doesn't really matter anymore, now Berros gone there's no pillow talk for the brother.
