While I wish him all the best, what are your club doing with the money? you can go up to the max salary cap spending limit but surely it hasnt all gone? Berrigan, dykes, cusack will not be cheap but most of your squad ia quite young and would not cost a kings ransom. Does Kath not have enough to tempt a decent coach?

I would hope even with his experience etc that he isn't one the top earners at the club TBH |

Maybe they feel Agar deserves the chance, to be honest its not the best situation going into off season without a head coach. Thats exactley why Saints got there replacement for Anderson well in advance.
Still I'd rather us appoint Agar before they had the brainstorm to hire Cullen.

Our penny pinching pussy footing Chairperson and her glove puppet will be hard pressed to get quality signings for the future, and with Agar being an unknown and unproven entity his ability to attract or convince top drawer players here will be a tough job.
I have nothing against the lad, but feel we should have gone for Folkes to show our ambition, I hope this is a wind up, cos it has certainly worked on me. (night shift syndrome)

It may not but the name everyone wanted but lets not knock Agar before he's even had a chance to prove his worth. As said elsewhere we may even get a DOR in to help with the recruitment side of things.
Just hope Agar see's some of the messages of support he's getting here and proves you all wrong. I agree we all wanted world class coach but you never know, Agar could be the next big thing.

Think he deserves his chance, did ok last time he had a spell and he has been around plenty of coaches to pick out what he thinks is good and discard what is bad.
He also seems to have the respect of the players which is a major point in his favour.
