I think player power within the QLD team made sure Izzy wasn't dropped for game 2. They have such a good team ethic within the squad up there, and I think Mal and the selectors dropping Folau would have dammaged that, somewhat.

It's a better looking side than the first one, the bench looks a bit strange to me though and I can't believe Bird never got a look in. Is Lyon injured?

I watched the Canberra /Titans game last night . Raiders have been a bit hit and miss this season but they played some good open rugby at times . I like the fullback Dugan , A real handful for the Titans at times before he got injured . Good entertaining game .

I finished that game off last night, cracking game. I was willing the Titans over the line in the last few minutes. Prince was class and I love watching Preston Campbell.

I think Catalan 's are really missing him this season. His form for the Titans has been out standing . I don't think he'd have been far from the selectors minds.

I've just finished watching the game and NSW looked like they've been together for 5 minuets, Plenty of passion but not much else.

NSW just need to pick a side and stick with it instead of rushing to any mad decisions.

The strength of Queensland is unbelievable though when you consider guys like Tuquiri, Price, Civonceva, Prince, Bolton, Tate and Hodges are all out of the squad and those 7 guys would walk into the NSW line up.

NSW selectors should send a SOS out for a combo of Gould and Fittler to take over from Bellyache and let them pick their own side.

Loved the biff but the game was embarrassing for NSW. Like Gould said in commentary NSW need to pick some players and stick with them, chopping and changing is no good. Also get some footballers in there, O'Donnell is good for nothing but a fight. They should stick Carney and Pearce in the halves and Bird at 13, then just leave them their for a complete series. Get shut of Cooper and Gidley too.

I can't understand how Michael Jennings can't even make the squad. I've been impressed every time I've watched him play, runs great angles, great hands and a nose for the line. NSW have picked 5 or 6 other centres in front of him in the last 2 series. They seem to pick defensive centres to try and stop Inglis, an impossible task.

anyone know how much longer nrl is free on msk for. Could get used to having 7 or 8 games a week to watch but dont really fancy paying anymore than i already do.

Two cracking games from the NRL's super Saturday . Some quality tries in the Melbourne game , A couple crackers from Slater and a superb effort from Duffie . Lyon out of Origin 3 with an ankle injury again .

Went to brookvale last night pretty poor defensive effort off both sides, souths lost through dumb rugby again.

The storm could give us a real battering next week.
