Don't get me wrong, I'm as deleriously happy as everyone else about this season, even if things don't go our way for the rest of it.
I just see Brough as a backward step, when Radford has spent spent two years getting rid of some bad influences, and introducing what appears to be a very good team spirit, it would be a shame to introduce another potentially disruptive element.

Brough not what we need and getting on a bit. We need a 6 that we can get a few years out of, need to build a culture of success and not wait 11 years for another trophy.

Agree on Brough for reasons I've already put on this thread. For me we have the player already at the club in Abdull as long as he can take onboard advice re his professionlism & his fitness. The kid has all the attributes and skill sets needed to be a great stand off, the only issue is the fitness and dedication it takes to be a pro athlete.

Maybe the Brough debate should have it's own thread....what's brough got to do with the game v Wakey?

Be interesting to see how Ridyard does in SL, having never played there, Jamie Ellis looked class in the championship, but is an average SL player. Same could be said about Drinkwater. I'd guess if this happens it because of Cookes influence, be great having Abdul work with him as he reminds me of him at the same age.

The "will only get better" comment I generally find a bit odd, does this imply there are no decent aspects to his game? Its a cliche which the likes of Gwillam Lloyd et al come out with which doesnt mean anything

Mini is always a big miss and Frank apparently aggrevated his knee problem. Think FC have enough in the tank (no pun intended, as he's out) to beat Wakey. Hope Carlos keeps it going from last Friday. Hope no bloomers as well.
