Last weekend before a minimum 3 week break for Hull and D teams, apart from U11 and lower who will play right through

Congratulations to West Hull u11s who won the Admiral of the Humber a Cup on Sunday in a tense game v Skirlaugh. A late try from Skirlaugh looked to have won them the game but West Hull came out and snatched the victory back in the dying seconds.

West Hull also topped the table at U11s as the league season has now finished, credit to Glyn Jones and the lads for a great season.

All U11 teams will now compete this weekend in the East/West trials festival, where 4 players from each team will be selected to represent their half of the city in an 'origin style' game to be played end of October.

All trial games are at St Richards (East Hull) with the East teams starting at 10am and the West teams at 1pm

Competition schedule:

Round one: Sunday 8th November 2015
Round two: Sunday 22nd November 2015
Round three: Sunday 6th December 2015
Semi Finals: Sunday 10th January 2016
Finals: Saturday & Sunday 23/24th January 2016

Leagues never decided by points diff due to the 50+ rule and games conceded/awarded.

Sometimes though the top team don't get the title if an uneven number of games have been played, it goes on games lost (least number of)

As that leagues all been finished and there will only be the group cups left to play, of which Wests and Skirlaugh won't be involved, it's most likely it will be a play off for the title.

Got a feeling the group cup finals for u12 will be Sun 27th and will be East v Wyke, Cott v Bev and Myton v Dockers

East of the City came out on top on this occasion. 32-24.

The first of the Embed the Pathway sessions yesterday down at Bishop Burton run by the City of Hull Academy. A great session headed up by Steve Crooks, Danny Wilson and Rob Wilson.

Positive feedback from both our u12 and u13s who've done it this week, a lot more organsed this year which is probably one of the first signs of the merged youth system working. Let's hope this leads to better talent identification.

Looking forward to the coaching CPDs once they get going.
