Why has Pitts been dropped then?

Pitts was played at prop earlier in the season, but simply isn't big enough for it. That's where he was left out. Since being put back in the back row where he should be I think he's been ever present.

I'd have him over Galea in the back row.

Yeah, after that 20 minutes or so last week Green must be in dire need of a rest.

If it's about rotation there are others far more needing of a break IMO.

galea hasn't done anything of note to be picked, cant see what an ageing aussie who should have quit last season brings more than a player like green or bowden

I agree, he's brought nothing to this team, our play slows right down when he gets the ball

Yes, I think this is one of the rare mistakes that PG has made. We've got better players kicking their heels.

Rovers have so far used 10 players in SL this season that have come through our academy, Have no idea about Hulls.

Hull have used Briscoe, Yeaman, Horne, Crooks, Bowden, Green, Kent, Shaul, Cunningham, Hadley, Green, Houghton and Jack Briscoe. Don't know if you would class Lineham but he did play in it for two years.

Cunningham, Kent & Jack Briscoe haven't played SL (this year in the case of the former 2, ever in Briscoe's). You've also included Green twice.

I know it's just your typical fluff piece, but it's really not coming from the right source to do anyone any favours. Contrast this to the O'Meley comments the other day where he criticised the middle after being the only prop to pull his weight (so IMO had earned the right), and it just doesn't sit right with me. It's also quite incredible that what he is pointing out is that our wobble in form and his return to fitness happened around the same time, after our winning streak coincidentally started when he got injured. In fact here's our league record with and without him this year:

With: 10 points from a possible 24 (4 wins from 12 games)
Without: 10 points from a possible 14 (5 wins from 7 games)

If Whiting hadn't missed the Leeds game the difference would be even wider.

I'm not blaming him, I'm just saying that I'd keep quiet if I were in his shoes.

Galea says in todays HDM that theuve been poor for five or six weeks now, well if you add that to the first nine weeks when they were cack too it doesnt look very good for both the coach and the squad imo. Only a very good performance tonight will be good enough, another half hearted effort and ill be seriously starting to doubt whether Gentle is the man for the job

Hope not, and it would raise potential concerns as to why. There isn't a single player in that squad who Galea deserves a place over IMO, should be an easy decision.
