Only my opinion but I don't think he is ready for Aussie yet.But the faster game might suit him.There again I think he will be caught out

given the state of the nation here and the climate etc etc etc, the kids gotta go and try it hasnt he, he may even stay there..
no one would ever have room to moan about his imput at FC (apart from maybe standee) so he would go with our blessing and I am sure we would all watch carefully to hope he goes well too....

Tom's a good winger but I still have my reservations as to whether he can 'make it' in the NRL. As much of a detriment as it would be to our side, I'd like to see him try his hand down under. It must be the ultimate for any young player. I also don't think that he'll develop any further playing outside Kirk.

tom briscoe has been great for hull in his time here i but has not progressed to world class in my opinion. tom lineham on the other hand will be huge for us and england over the next few years. ssshhhhh dont tell the aussies

Good luck to Tom B he's produced some memorable moments during an period where there haven't always been that many good things happening. Hope he makes it but I do believe that he will need to improve further to hold down a first grade spot consistently over there. Might well happen with the improved training conditions he'll experience. Tom Lineham has the potential to be better than Tom B IMO let's just hope our coaches can bring him through to fulfil that potential.

definitely a big loss if true i think he is still a bit raw in some parts of his game but playing outside a better then Kirk that actually passes the ball i think we will see him rip teams apart in the nrl with his pace power and evasiveness if he stays i think Crookes should be his partner from next year we would see him get a lot more tries. in the leeds game he was on yeamos shoulder every time waiting for the ball and did not get it once hes wasted outside Kirk imo

good luck to him he goes with my blessing, i've enjoyed watching him play. the nrl is the best league in the world and if he didn't go he would always be left wondering 'what if?' also the nrl has much bigger media profile and he could well make himself into a bone fide sports star, something that doesn't happen in this country to RL players

Very true. Same goes for plenty of young players, Westy another example. Get hyped with a big reputation, then get knocked for not living up to it every week.

When will you learn, success can not be bought, Leeds tried it under Douglas Laughton and almost went bankrupt, Leeds have a dozen players who could move for more money, the reason they don't is because they are local lads that want to play together and win trophy's. Would you change job just for a wage rise if you we're happy with your lot enjoying your days work with you mates. The only way forward is to bring through and develop the youngsters the problem for most clubs is its a long term plan and some clubs have only a short term plan. Hull have some good young kids coming through like Green and line ham and Crooks for example but not enough. What you need is some stability with the spine of the team, 6,7,9,13 for example or to get players tied up on longer term contacts like Leeds do. Hull have spent too much money on over priced injury prone Aussies and Shaun Longs to try and fix their half back problems over the years and its back fired. Gareth Ellis could be another example of an injury prone player who's best days are behind him, dispute what he says Leeds would have offered him a lot lower short term contract and he goes to hull for the money and the longer term contract, like Adrian Morley did at Wire. The wire gamble paid off but will the Hull one ?

would like to see briscoe stay but should Pearson offer mega money to make that happen? imo no wingers are easy to come by not like half backs as we have seen and we are going to need all the money we have to try temp some 1 to the kc next year. for me it should not be about money and i would like for some 1 to actually want to come to hull without the money issue but we live in the real world and people are greedy and want every cent possible.

It's not about money but if it was I'd pay a lot to keep him.

So would I. One of the most exciting players in the SL, definitely in our team. He has pure quality and well over 100 SL games, all at the age of 22.
