Maybe the season should kick off a month later, then we maybe wouldn't get this happening, gotta feel for all the fans who've made the trip.

Statistically February is the coldest month of the year. Downside of moving the start of the season would be a GF in November.

The best re-arrangement IMO would be to play Cats away in place of the home fixture in August (although we would then have to contend with the heat) and rearrange the KC game midweek for a week when the Dragons are already in the country (I don't know if they have back to back games in the UK but that would be favourite).

However, I'm sure the RFL will manage to concoct a much more convoluted schedule than that!

Well, I was actually thinking more along the lines of covers, heaters, etc, and actually making an effort, but I guess it's just easier to take the ....

To kill off the rumours Hull FC will not play Catalan tomorrow at a different venue, RFL tried to get game on tomorrow but not possible

Oh yeah, there's no doubt that Catalans should have done a lot lot more than what they have done.

I read it was ice! Plus looking at the pitch inspection video it looks like ice too, especially in sub-zero temps.

speaking to james smailes tonight, catalans new how bad the pitch was on tuesday and simply made no effort to make the game playable tonight!

From a distance it seems like there may be a link between 'pitch was watered yesterday' and 'ice on the pitch today' (Elementary my dear Holmes). What a shambles. Gutted for the fans who have travelled.

Had to settle for watching Pies v Winos on Sky. It was noticeable how much time the Pies kickers had and what good use they made of that. Also that slimmed down new haircut Luaiaki is still as lazy as ever tho he did manage a slap shot on Ryan Bailey.
