The club have come back to me, they are going to set up a photo opportunity with me handing over the medal to Jimmy Rule, James Clarke is going to write the story and it will go on the website and I am told they will try and generate as much media interest as possible. A definative date is to be agreed next Tuesday for the handover so thanks for all your support guys and rightfully the medal will soon be on display in the KC stadium!

The club should get their act together and allow you to present it to them before ko on Saturday. (assuming you'll be in possession of the medal).

I am actually still waiting for the medal to be delivered despite sending payment the day after! Once I do receive it, between myself and the club we will aagree on how the handover will take place and where the medal will be kept. Will keep all informed as developments arise.

Was being sent by registered post so I am reasonably confident it will fine. Either way I will give it until Monday and then start making some noise about it.

If it was being sent by Special Delivery then it's a "Next Day" service. I'd be making noises. Lots of noises.

I hope you don't mean Recorded Delivery as that's uninsured (apart from the 100 x 1st Class stamp thing)...

At the final price paid your only true cover is if sent by Special delivery (Only £6.35 for £1k cover) recorded delivery only offers £41 worth of insurance. I really hope you have this now! Be an absolute disgrace if some scrote in RM decides to cherry pick this for themselves!

Found out who the seller is, a pretty reputable source (not hp) and the guy has been quite ill it seems however the medal should be with me tomorrow I am told.

really hope it finds its way home. being a porper and only able to bid upto x amount(far from the final total) i wish i would have been in with a shout for it. I really hope the club appriciates its value not for its money.
