Once you have planning (do you have plannning yet?) you can wait 3 (or possibly 5) years before it expires, and even then you can keep applying for extensions to the expiry date, or just pour a couple of footings and work is deemed to have started so the permission won't expire.

Doesn't get you a new stadium though.

I love the Kc and congrats but what can we do when our council don't help us we can't get planning permission from thin air. Our council is awful that is why Wakey is in the dolldrums and its good that your council granted your great stadium and they obviously care about sport in your area. Our coucil want the club to die and don't help. I feel so sorry for every wakey fan where rugby is there lives. WHAT CAN WE DO WHEN THE COUNCIL DO NOT HELP??

Having supported them for more years than i dare to remember and getting used to regularly having smoke blown up my ar$e by the club,i can also understand why people would be cynical.

However YorkCourt have a history of this type of development,there are many different partners involved and its supported(but not funded)by the council.Thousands have already been spent at this relatively early stage.I also dont believe anyone has that kind of money to throw away in some elaborate plan just so Wakey can get a license.If PP is granted i believe it will happen.

If it doesnt we are shafted,the club know it and the supporters know it.We will have no one but ourselves to blame.

Less pubs/Bars = less bottles thrown at you when you leave, by the fans who helped you pick up that fine.

Well this york court is private funding we just need the council to give us land and the pillocks are struglling to do that , so what can we do. The day we move out of that dump i will be celebrating more than anyone believe me .
