Looking at that and you really cannot see further than 2 or 3 wins at the most.

Rovers is a toss of the coin most of the time regardless.

Wigan will most likely trounce us again.

Quins I can see beating us due to our history with them over the last few years

Crusaders, it depends which Crusaders turns up and Nobby has a habit of getting his teams playing their best rugby towards the end of the season.

Warrington, I think the CC is good for us but i dont think it will be Wires priority this year, a lot will depend on how Saints pressure them for the 2nd spot as well. Still cannot see anything but a defeat in that one.

Leeds, Again cup could help but a lot will depend on league position, if they need a win to guarantee a top 4 they will be all out to win and with our 2 inept performances against them already i really dont expect much different.

We should be looking to win the 3 home games as a minimum and also targeting the Quins game. If things play our way we could also end up being lucky and grabbing unlikely wins at Leeds & Wire, but when have things played our way

rovers- yeh is a toss of the coin could go either way on thursday but we need to win really if we want top 4.
wigan- at home you"d think a wigan win but we do play well against the top teams and been at home aswell could see us winning that 1.
quins- must win no doubt about it, yeh we generally dont do that well there but we have to win and think we will.
crusaders- again a must win wont be easy ask leeds there a totally diffrent side and we need to be on our game but been at home i think we"ll win.
warrington-depends on challenge cup ect but we aint done well away from home and woundt expect us to win but who knows.
leeds-again depending on the challenge cup could help us and been at home im confident against anyone so could go either way but dont expect a win.

all in all i expect wins against dullkr,quins and crusaders and at leaste 1 win from leeds,wigan and warrington
so 8 points would put us on 34 points will it be enough for top 4?.

with 3 to go and its in our hands, take each game as it comes. i think we might sneak 4th, especially if leeds and wire make the cup final

4th would likely give us an away game at wigan followed a week later by a likely home game at home to leeds. It happened to the dobbins last year when they lost both games. The 1st v 4th game is likely to be much more intense than the 5th V 8th game. I just think it would be an "easier" game to go to headingley a week after they had been in a massive game at wigan and we had played cas/wakey at the KC

I tend to agree. You'd imagine our confidence would be gone should we be hammered at Wigan. Having said that, Leeds at home in a sudden death game sounds fun.

It's not just the confidence, it's the psycological and physical battering.

We might beat Wigan.

Losing to leeds a week before the playoffs might be psychologically damaging.

Any-one know the stats for teams winning games straight after a Wembley appearance ?

I doubt it, both players and fans are conditioned to losing to leeds. It's nearly 3 years since we beat them isn't it?

One could say the same about yesterdays game...we have never won at the stoop, we not only won but racked up the biggest score in 3 years...

More to the point what are the stats for Leeds losing straight after a CC final appearance and Warrington the week before? Think Warrington lost week before the final last year?

Don't think the teams involved barring Cats will be affected by a wembley appearance. Warrington/Leeds/Saints are all involved in the cup next week and there was no let up from any of those sides in their fixtures this week.

If the final game comes and Leeds need to win to take 4th spot they will go all out to win it.

So what would be the point in avoiding Wigan if where going to lose to Leeds anyway? We might as well play them at the kc so fans can save on travel

Regarding Longy, i still dont think he will be back for the Leeds game, and even if he is i am not sure i would play him that week. It all depends on ourt position going into that game though.
