No, but we're currently about where Wigan were when he took over. If he came for a couple of years and left us where Wigan are now, I think that would be pretty decent value for money. Not saying he'd be a coach to get us to winners status, but he would get us back amongst the contenders and therefore in a much better position to then get the absolute top coaches more interested.

Well, he isn't getting a contract at Wigan, which kind of indicates that he isn't the messiah some would have us believe. When he was at Bradford they basically spent their way to success, look at where they are now, is that Noble's legacy?

I just don't like him, he bores me to death and I wouldn't want to watch a side coached by him.

Bennet would be my choice, but we'll never pay that kind of cash, we'll end up sticking with GaGa for the start of the season and then Sharp will take over, we all know that is the likely outcome.

Where i kind of understand what you're saying, i'd like to twist it a little...... would Wigan have Agar and Sharp as, with what you are saying, if they're good enough for Hull they're good enough for Wigan??

The problem is they're not.. Noble would be an excellent option for us imo, and more importantly, available. We would develop much better and play better rugby than we currently do.

Of course Noble is better than Agar, I just don't like him, and I would struggle to support a team he was managing.

Have to say I agree with you, although I'm not sure it's an entirely rational and objective judgement in my case at least.



Mind you, if it were a choice between Agar/Sharp and Noble for next season...

Oh believe me, it's not rational or objective on my behalf either, I just dislike the guy, I've met him on one occasion and he just managed to annoy me as soon as he opened his mouth, it might be the chavtastic chewing of gum, it could be as simple as that!

I've met him once or twice and before I met him I disliked him intently, probably as Bradford were so successful. After talking to the bloke he came accross as a top guy and also had a lot of respect for Hull FC fans.
