TBH, I think the smartest thing to do would be to see where Lauaki plays and how he settles into SL. If he props and takes to it quickly over here, perhaps bye-bye Thackray, if not there should still be no more than another year on the table.

Although there are still 2 or 3 props I'd like to see the back of first, it's just not quite as easy for those.

Since i've been hanging out with some of the countrys best (although ex) RL Players with the Allstars....... I don't think I need an encyclopedia Kosh.....Some of the stuff they come out with....IN PUBLIC.....is pretty close to the knuckle. I'd never repeat any of it though, its just part of the banter involved in ANY SPORT!!!!! Thack's 'outburst' is nowt compared....Yes REALLY! You only have to listen to boxers for example.....Some of the tripe they come out with at the pre-fight press sessions is earbending.
I'm sure loads of ya just love jumping on this and that bandwagons for various reasons......But IMHO......Thacks has done nob-all wrong to get a multi page slating from 'supposed supporters'.....Pathetic really!!!

It may have escaped your attention, but Thacks isn't a boxer. And neither is the target of his tirade an opposing sportsman that he might be trying to get a mental advantage over.

And I really don't care what ex players come out with as the key word there is EX. As in former. Completely different to a current employee of the club crudely slating the opposition coach in the national press.

But I don't expect you to be able to see the distinctions TBH.

I sat and spoke with Thacks last year.....He comes accross as a genuine guy that wants to play well for Hull FC...He is truly greatful of the 'second chance' offered to him. I'm sure the fact that he has suddenly become the 'next fans Judas' and scapegoat will really bother him.....Yeah and Craven Park is a classy stadium!!!!!
