totally agree about tommy lee

he gives everything for the team, never gets hidden, looks to try make things happen, yet still gets slagged off when he makes a mistake. it amazes me when horney makes errors hardly a word is said.

give tommy 9 games (like the otherts have had) at 7 and let him have a chance. If we do sign a top class 7 put tommy to 6 and horne to full back.

Let's take our blinkers off ladies and gents. Craig hall had a shocking game against rovers, equally poor against Salford, nearly as poor against quins and was terrible first half v cas. Now for me he is and never will be a full back in the modern era. Possibly not a winger in the modern era neither. Now that leaves centre. Saints field gidley and gilmour. We have a choice of yeamo whiting g Horne and hall. None of them are setting the world on fire but I'd go with yeamo and whiting. Thorman to full back rays boy on the wing till raynor who incidentlly faced the same charge as rays lad returns. Then it's lee Horne washy berro and houghton covering 6, 7 and 9 for me.

Very true, but a lot of people on here don't care how he plays and are only happy slating him. R. Horne made 2 really bad errors yet not a word has been said. It seems to me that people base there opinions on likes or dislikes of people and not on form or ability.

It is, and my opinion of the people wanting to drop Lee is that they're stupid. I could understand if he wasn't performing, but he is. What more does he have to do? Score a full lengther with his eyes closed whilst doing the YMCA? Maybe then he may get a bit of credit.

My opinion is that he shouldnt be near the 1st team at all...BUT he is playing well and is deserving his place at the moment.

Could name a couple of others who could be dropped before Hall.

Like you've said with your next post, I can name a few that by name alone should be in the first team but they're not performing and shouldn't be.

Hall had a better game than both Thorman and G Horne. He was arguably no worse than Yeaman and certainly had more involvement in the game.

This is what happens when you have a safety-first attitude and an over-reliance on error stats.

I said it last week and got a slating. It happened at one point against Rovers and we picked up. I'll say it again.

Thorman and Horne don't combine. One works one side one works the other which is one big reason we're playing one man rugby. Let Berrigan and Lee control the middle with Lee making sure the ball gets shipped with speed to Horne and Thorman.

name them and tell me who replaces them, thorman been poor yes. Is he a better full back than hall yes. Can we put anyone better in at 7 ? Doubtful. I can name a few equally as poor but can we replace them with any better in that given position on all known form. I think not.

Errrrr Hall to Wing which he can cover better than F/B and Reardon at F/B...which he is.

Personally think Lee deserves a run at 7 if were not gunna get anyone in. Doesn't really matter now though as us signing reardon shows that agar doesn't see thorman covering at fb.
