Thats it for me!!!!! obviously it was agreed yesterday and someone has changed their minds the stories coming out of the council were all about £500 for everything and the Mail has led us up the garden path completely! I feel for our club they are now in an invidious position mnaipulated by the SMC. whichever way they turn they are wrong!

Clauses dictate that publicly commenting on the lease agreement constitutes a breach of the agreement. Its been quoted about 4 times on this thread so far.

So City are paying in the region of £50k to have the stadium decked out in their glorious memorabilia. For a club always on the brink that's great commercial sense. (I'm being flippant). To me this seems as though Allam has actually won. Let the boycott commence folks. It will cost him far more than. £20k.

Do not often post - but like a lot of people I read these forums on a regular basis - this business with the SMC has enraged me so much. This man Allam seems to have no morals - OK he has donated a fair bit of his riches - but it seems to be to buy favour for some reason.
I thought the Stadium was a community stadium for the people of the city of Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire. Surely some sort of a compromise can be reached - possibly the public areas of the stadium should be adorned with memorabilia of the famous sons and daughters of Kingston upon Hull & the East Riding e.g William Wilberforce, Amy Johnson, Philip Larkin, James Reckitt, J Arthur Rank etc.. as well as memorabilia of famous sporting achievements of the city's local sports team and individuals.
A few weeks ago didn't Siemens attend an event at KC - what better message to put across to visitors than to show the history and achievement of Hull & the East Riding in a magnificent setting of the stadium.

No need to worry. Timeshare Tony graciously offered to pay for JW's memorabilia and promised me the cheque was in the post.

The newspaper article says and note this because it is a fundimental change form the on line ammended article,

"Hull FC have been offered the opportunity to display their own Club branding throughout the KC on Match day but as yet have failed to to take up any offer. It is expected Hull FC would have to pay about £500 per season".

There is little doubt that someone who was doing the negotiating on behalf of the Stadium has changed their mind or had it changed for them.

I am being told through private sources that agreement was made between Ehab Allam and John North and then the old man got wind and changed it all again which really sums it up. It really is personnal as far as he is concerned - there is one word that sums this whole debacle up - PISSPOTACLE. By the way all dont read the sports pages in HDM read Ian Midgley - hits it on the Head.
