He's a Rovers fan who signed up a couple of months ago, then made a few comments on the Catalan's forum to try and add a little integrity and authenticity to his future trolling post, which has just landed.

I'm sure the mods can check whether this poster is posting from france or northern spain. If not then just delete it.

I have, and he's posting from France. Seems a bit of an extreme course of action for a Rovers troll.

There are fans who drink too much and act like idiots at [ievery[/i club, mate. It's an unfortunate and unpleasant fact of life. Not sure how you expect the rest of us to 'sort it out' at away games though, especially in France.

You might also get a better reaction if you didn't come on so belligerent. The vast majority of Hull fans would have sympathy with someone on the receiving end of drunken abuse if you didn't come on trying to tar everyone with the same brush.

Why do fans come on here and tell us, what you you expect the fans on here to do about it? You are preaching to people who like you dont want these fans at games.

You would be better contacting a steward, police or even our club.

Total waste of time posting on here.

If you could take more than 10 fans to your away games it may give us something to slag you off about.

It has been my experience in my travels to France with FC that the French people I have come across ( excuse the pun) have been more than helpful, friendly and the Cats fans courteous and fun ..
However at the weekend there was a strange atmosphere outside the stadia did anyone else feel that as if something was going off , very quiet compared to usual, there again I guess it wasnt as warm as usual

Certainly was,One looked like some sort of Bouncer and he laid into a few at the far end of the stand,NO FC fans involved.
As for drunken behaviour well we were in France and had spent 2 days being charged top dollar for absolute pish so anyone who could afford to get ratted and have a good time without resorting to violence ,GOOD ON EM !!!

The bloke who started this thread is entitled to his opinion; I didn't go this year but went last and yes there were ed up idiots who seem to think the only objective when leaving the UK is to drink like their lives depend on it act in a boorish way towards their hosts and surroundings; but they were outweighed by genuine fans who are respectful of the different culture and enjoy the bonhomie of the Catalan experience. As always the minority have the potential to give the majority a bad name; but it's not an FC problem; it's a problem with scum in society.

The only thing I thought was out of order from the Hull fans was deliberately disrespecting the Catalonian anthem by singing over it

i thought it was a great weekend (except for the incoveniencing Volcano ash

) and no trouble at all


The only factor i found, was everyone wanting to be together in the same stand , but from what i understand, the stands were not marked clearly and was a little confusing for everyone anyhow.

I went and had the pleasure of breaking up a fight between a Sarkosy lookalike and a french meathead steward. If KC stewards were extras from WWW wrestling/cage fighters then there may not be a lot of trouble.
My funniest moment was 2 pi**ed FC blokes in late 40s falling over in the french stand and their s hanging out when Fitz scored. All the young kids laughed.
Then this guy was singing ' Matalan .....reasonable prices ' over and over again.
TBF my mates had never been to Catalan before and they said they were bowled over by the number of 'fu*kwit' fc fans and that there must have been a large amount of carers on that trip.
Then there were the obvious wealthy Swanellerby type - a great mix

Players came back to our hotel with Rich Agar and my mate had to roll O'Meley's cigs for him. There was an incident with some of the groupies but less said the better.
Then we were delayed in Toulose and had to dash to Paris the next morning for a new non ash flight ! Takes some doing - Toulose to Paris via Bordeaux in 6 hours.
Great first half from Hull and Briscoes try was class - Rich Agar said it was straight off the training ground and I wondered why we didn't try it again at any other point in the game ?
On the whole - great trip - just edges the Narbonne trip in 2006.
There is a good vibe with FC fans away as usual

Was talking to next door neighbour about the Weekend "Their party only got back last night" He stated the only trouble he saw was 2 Cat fan falling out ..And Kath left money for drinks
